I'm not optimistic about this season, I hope I'm pleasantly surprised. I'm looking forward to watching some of the young guys flourish (hopefully).

For those who wanted the "youth movement" - it's here. 13 of the 18 skaters are under 30.

Based on the truism of Clode hating younger players, that means those over 30 guys are going to get about 45 minutes of ice time tonight.

4 NHL debuts tonight and then 2 other players are in the lineup with less than 50 game NHL experience (Miller, Acciari).

Time will tell if this team is any good, but it'll be exciting to see the kids play and hopefully develop in a positive direction. This is what Sweeney and the FO has wanted.
