Tattum navigating the last two or three possessions of a quarter to get the most opportunities to score has been excellent this season.70-Burger. Also, Tatum is insanely good, you guys.

Most had this amazing verbal tick -- when the celts did something amazing he would go into this incomprehensible 3 second screech voice... and back to normal 1 second later. It wasn't just the voice.. it was the combo of: being a homer to an extent that would make even Tommy Heinsohn blush, all of his catch phrases (fiddlin and diddlin), and the all out passion he had for the game ("OH, THE YELLOW, GUTLESS WAY THEY DO THINGS HERE!").
And the man could describe a basketball game... I fell asleep many nights to the Celtics and Johnny. Actually went to a charity softball game in Needham where I think he was MC for the night.. I still have his autograph from that night... as well as Dom DiMaggio, Jim Nance (NEP), Rick Middleton, Dave Cowens, Rick Miller and various other sports celebrities.
He’ll play in the 4th but it’s way too early for that.Time for Jordan Walsh’s debut.
Very strange that he let it get that far.why has Joe stopped subbing?
Tatum has a tough road I think because the perception/reality is it’s a team of all-stars which belies the fact of how important he is.If Tatum get going in the second half he’s very much still in the MVP picture this year. I’d probably put SGA as the midseason front runner based on a mix of quality of performance and narrative, but there’s no real separation right now at the top and Jokic hasn’t been at his normal level, which opens things up. Giannis and Embiid are obviously serious contenders too and Doncic and Halliburton have cases for consideration but I don’t think their teams are good enough for the narrative piece to work for them.
Great stuff. I miss Johnny’s voice.

His voice is grating and he’s rambling about nonsense that’s loosely related to this game.PJ is a really bad commentator. Why is he there?
that last swing to Pritchard was really niceBrisset doing a great job attacking the rim/paint then dishing
"PJ, what would Michael Jordan do with no one defending the rim"His voice is grating and he’s rambling about nonsense that’s loosely related to this game.
Are they trying to give Mike some help? Why is PJ still talking?
With good news like that you should come around more often.Rare GT appearance, to point out that Jaylen, Tatum, Al, Pritch, and Holiday are a combined 13-16 from three.
This is a fair pointPJ is part of the Mike Gorman retirement tour.
He should be allowed to have his dog sit in if that's what he wants.
Fair enough---and they picked the right game to use PJ, I guess.PJ is part of the Mike Gorman retirement tour.

He's trying hard, thougheven Marc Davis can't keep this game close
Yes!!!We want Walsh
We want Walsh
We want Walsh
that looked like the MJ dunk on the MonstarsAfter that Wemby dunk, Luke was running down the court laughing at how ridiculous that was.
Most's sandpapery smokey one more for the road at 2AM rasp was all many of us knew as a voice of hoops WBW. He was the voice of a dynasty.Johnny's scratch was endearing. I actually like PJ but he grates after a while
Glad he’s in the West and can grasp it against OKC.I feel like neither wemby nor his teammates have fully grasped what he's capable of and even scratching the surface he's already really good
Some nights he flashes some insane moves or does something you haven't seen before and on others, he looks like a baby deer finding its feet.I feel like neither wemby nor his teammates have fully grasped what he's capable of and even scratching the surface he's already really good
