Spooner is up to 7th in the league in even strength points per 60 at 2.53. Crazy company he's in (min 400 minutes TOI).

1. Leon Draisaitl
2. Patrick Kane
3. Mike Hoffman
4. Jamie Benn
5. Tyler Seguin
6. Dylan Larkin
7. Ryan Spooner
8. Jaromir Jagr
9. Blake Wheeler
10. Vladimir Tarasenko

Can safely say I never expected that. Wow. He's also not feasting on loads of secondary assists too. He's first in he league in primary assists per 60, 1.52.

Spooner has come much farther this season than I think anyone expected. His playmaking creativity has always been outstanding, but he's playing 200 feet now. What impresses me the most is that the injury to Krejci put a ton of pressure on Spooner, and he's accepted it and *thrived.*

Pretty as a picture. Great pass by Bergeron, great hands by Marchand. God is it fun to watch those guys.
