How was the City-Arsenal game? I know it was 4:1. Were City kind of scoring at will and Arsenal completely overmatched?
You would think this would totally tarnish his reputation but given the merry go round of managers in the EPL, some team will probably hire him because they want a “ name” of a manager. Personally, I think he needs to start managing in the lower leagues, get a team promoted to have any chance in management as far as evolving. I have no idea about his coaching skills but some great coaches are not good managers. The most obvious one for me was Don Howe. It's hilarious. The combination of getting sacked from Chelsea last time for defensive disorganization and trying to keep Everton up at the ass-end of the table have completely broken his brain and he's taking this squad of nothing but attacking midfielders, sitting almost all of them and is putting even more defensive lineups out there than Potter was when goalscoring was already their problem. It almost made sense at Madrid, made less sense at home chasing goals against Madrid, and is the funniest thing in the world when he puts out the same, 1 - 1.5 attackers depending what you think of Gallagher lineup against Brentford.
Just 30 goals on the campaign too. To be fair, their defense is not terrible but, man, 65 goals combined (for and against) in 32 games. What a snooze.Just tuning in to catch up on the footy world today. Chelsea lost again? My aching sides. That’s something like 13 losses and 1 draw in Frank’s last 14 games. Whatever the decision was to hire him, it wasn’t based on football.
Were Chelsea as successful as Twitter recently?I don’t want to turn this into V&N. But as far as being dysfunctional in such I short space of time: Boehly= Musk, Chelsea= Twitter.
They won Champion's League literally two years ago. Were Chelsea as successful as Twitter recently?
I can’t define what you call success as far as Twitter; but as far as some rich dude taking over what was a successful company and turning it into turmoil in such a short space of time .. I’ll stand by it. They’ve become a laughing stock. Much like Twitter .Were Chelsea as successful as Twitter recently?
My apologies.. I was more or less honestly asking. I know they've been top four, but didn't think it was up to the success of one would think of as successful Chelsea. It is true that none of the moves they've made this year have worked. They won Champion's League literally two years ago.
I think that's fair... I just wasn't sure exactly when Boehly had taken over.I can’t define what you call success as far as Twitter; but as far as some rich dude taking over what was a successful company and turning it into turmoil in such a short space of time .. I’ll stand by it. They’ve become a laughing stock. Much like Twitter .
All good. I wish I lived in the world where your thing was true honestly and they were Twitter as a business level mediocre, but up until Abromavitch had to sell they were doing standard Abromovitch things of churning through players and managers messily and winning stuff while doing so. Now, so far at least, twice the mess, none of the winning, which has been fun.My apologies.. I was more or less honestly asking. I know they've been top four, but didn't think it was up to the success of one would think of as successful Chelsea. It is true that none of the moves they've made this year have worked.
To a neutral, it was more like a 99-1 call. I have no idea how that wasn't whistled. Arm, hand, hand to where he literally stops the ball with his hand.On the Thiago handball, I like the no call through my Reds colored glasses but that one could have gone either way. I think he got the benefit of the doubt because he was falling down when it hit his arm. Regardless, it wasn't getting overturned either way by VAR so the call on the field stuck. I'd be complaining if it happened to Liverpool for sure....a true 50-50 call.
Emerson and Davies both going down after establishing themselves as the functional wingback pair probably cost Conte his job.I think Pedro Porro is the world's most selfish fullback.

Working his ass off a lot, but he never showed up in the picture on that "break" and that irritated me.This is baaaaad. Players are completely clueless and consequently can't even do basic things like closing down the ball in the defensive third (!) correctly anymore. Perisic is utter dogshit. There's really no reason to play him anymore. Put some academy kids out there for all I care. Richy is frustrating, but he's at least working his ass off. Most of the other players don't even look like they can be bothered to put in a shift. Every attack down Porro's side is dangerous. I don't know how Danjuma doesn't start for this side.
All part of making this alluring as possible for Nagelsmann!I think the three forward players for Tottenham have been working hard and trying to actually do something out there.
Everyone else is sleep-walking. It seems like Spurs don't have the numbers forward to really score, but also somehow don't have numbers back to stop attacks as United surge forward. Headed right out of European play for next year.
It would be sad to see Everton go down, but they really don't deserve to stay up. They simply aren't good and there have been a million mistakes at every level that have compounded their misfortune.Newcastle go two up. Everton are readying Maupay to come on...he's the cavalry. I worry about Everton, i think they're going down.
You're not kidding:Everton score a freak goal from a corner kick, then Newcastle get one right back Isak beats about 4 players with no pitch to work with - you have to see it to believe it - then Murphy scores with the tap in. Isak should have been taken out, but nary a glove was laid on him.
I have to have faith because it’s my club but it’s hard for me to come up with a football - based reason why you’re wrong.Newcastle go two up. Everton are readying Maupay to come on...he's the cavalry. I worry about Everton, i think they're going down.
