    I agree it's conventional wisdom.  But I don't assume it's correct.   Is there any study that shows that pitchers who throw a splitter (at least a certain % of their pitches) are more likely to have UCL elbow surgery?  That's not a smart aleck question either, I'm wondering if there is one.

    .328 OPS in ST right now.  He looks terrible.  I don't think he makes it through the entire season.  He certainly doesn't make it as a starter at SS all season.

    It would be neat if for 2014 MLB allowed every player who has ever had Tommy John surgery to wear a patch honoring Frank Jobe.  He absolutely deserves to be inducted into the Hall of Fame.

    What I want is a separate channel or filter than can give me visuals with only the crowd and stadium noise.  I watched the entire 2013 World Series in silence.  Which is still better than Buck/McCarver or Buck/Reynolds.   I truly would rather have McCarver than Reynolds.
