I love everyone here but Jesus Christ there’s no T in his last name.

Yup, just watched the Kucherov hit here. Should be gone for the rest of the series, or at least what Kadri got last year (3 games?). The intent was as clear as day with him tripping Nutivaara first.

He'll get a fine.

He’s always been a bit of a hot head. He should get 2-3 games for that.
I would bet he gets at least a game, but 2 seems most likely. Given they are headed to Columbus, that play and him losing his cool could have put the nail in the TB coffin. Crazy.

One of the reasons I felt the Bruins had a real shot at winning was how much of a team they were, similar to how Vegas made their run last year. Looks like I was wrong on that, and the Islanders look like that team to me now. They were impressive against the penguins. They seem very much for real.

Yeah that hit was bad. Marchand probably gets 4 for that, and I would agree with it. I don't expect them to suspend the probable Hart winner, but will be pleasantly surprised if he gets 1 or 2 for it.

Just saw the hit too. Gotta be two games.
Probably will just get a fine.
Spin that wheel!
If Nutivaara were concussed, it’s a no-brainer (pardon the pun) McLaren suspension, likely 5 games to make sure he’s out the rest of the series. In the end, I think 3 factors make the decision:

-Nutivaara seems fine so far
-It was late in the game (a 1st or even 2nd period ejection tends to count as a game in DoPS’ eyes)
-A lot of hockey media has come out saying how bad that hit was

I’m guessing 1 game, because the league knows that hit can’t go unpunished, but they don’t want to “affect a playoff series”, similar to refs swallowing their whistles in the playoffs.

He played all of last night like a lazy, druken fratboy looking for a fight; hard to watch, actually. I wonder what the hell happened to him during the course of the day to exhibit such uncharacteristic gameplay.
Regardless, I can't stand the 'Ning, so I hope Kucherov gets at least a 3 game suspension.

We look at the points and see a wide disparity but the Jackets have insane forward depth. When guys like Nash, Dubinsky and Foligno are your fourth line you’ve got some serious forward talent.

Edit: If they started the season with this roster they win the division going away.

pretty nuts. so the Bruins would have home ice the rest of the Eastern Conference (and maybe SC finals too, not sure on the tiebreaker procedure would be with Calgary).

opportunities like this don't come around often.

So either the Blue Jackets will win their first playoff series against a historically good team or they'll be the fourth (?) team to blow a 3-0 lead. Fun times.
