Didn't see any of it, but it doesn't really seem like Columbus stole that game.

Super small sample size, but in 3 games, CBJ looked as good and as bad as any team the Bruins played this season. They'll probably lose, but nothing would surprise me about the outcome of this series. It's why I didn't bet on it. Out of the bottom 4 eastern teams, most experts (and I agreed), thought Columbus had the best chance of beating TB. And I thought they had best chance of getting swept too.

Well they aren't getting swept. So I'm buying CBJ if the Vegas odds don't swing too far. If they do swing, I'm betting on Tampa.

Just the way it started with the early shorty, Bobrovsky giving up a juicy rebound for #2 and down 3-0 after one. Could have been 4-0 twenty seconds into the second, but that when Bobrovsky started standing on his head. Get it to 3-1, then the 3 huge saves he makes again in the last minute of the second, and then a few more at the start of the 3rd. Felt like it should have been 6-1 at that point, instead is 3-2 with 12 minutes to go.

Tampa is probably still going to win, probably in 5 or 6, but at least they’re going to have to work hard and take some hits in the first round this year.

Is this an issue of Tampa not having any urgency for months and Columbus playing urgently since the deadline?

That's bush-league from Kutcherov, who hit the CBJ player who was already down on his knees against the boards.

Edit: On replay, he came very close to driving his elbow through the head and into the boards. That could have gone really badly.
