    Hello Sons: I joined the Nation in '67, mesmerized by Jim, Rico, Boomer and Yaz while living in Wainscott, Long Island, two hamlets from Yaz's hometown of Bridgehampton. Wrote about it all in the Yaz chapter in my memoir "The Kingdom of the Kid: Growing Up in the Long-Lost Hamptons." You never forget your first pennant race, right?
