I thought years ago they used to wear the names on the back, on the road, but going back to Mantle and those guys, maybe not.I can't believe you never noticed this before. I find it terribly arrogant.

No long hair or beards and only one necklace allowed. Just in case you notice that, too.G
Googling it, you may be right.
It just started on MLB internet for me.mlbn says it's carrying Sox @ Twins (Pivetta v. Ryan) @ 1 pm, but NESN does not.
Who knows if we'll all be able to see it.
Agree, but Dalbec is not encouraging at the big league level. He is a AAAA player.Casas with a big stretch on a bad throw from Dalbec to get an out and end the inning. That's encouraging.
Oh, is that a bad word? I just made it up. I won't use it again.
Not just MLB Network but WEEIWong with a 2 run homer that flabbergasted the announcers
As exciting as that “double” was, Duran should have been on third base after the errant throw / air raid drill and then scored on the ensuing weak groundout by Yoshida. Duran deserves credit for improving defensively but, in so many other areas of his game, it seems the skills will never match the tools.Man, is it possible that Duran is actually pretty good? I’ve been a skeptic, but I’m happy to be very wrong. His speed is certainly game changing.
Not at all. Character on the right is named Wong. Character on the left calls him Wongers affectionately. I don't think the "owww" is meant in an "ouch" sort of way so much as a "woooo" sort of way.Oh, is that a bad word? I just made it up. I won't use it again.
Cellucci lost the game today. I guess he'll be in AA? Or maybe AAA?If this team can't win the Chairman's Cup, what chance do they have in the regular season?
Cora has said Reyes and Valdez will platoon at 2B to start the season.Looks close to an opening day lineup, with an OF/DH shuffle as I presume O'Neill's calf is still iffy. And they're trying to save some of Wong's HR for the season.

Ha! 13 now....Crawford gave up 3 straight hits in the first and 2 runs, but then settled down and got the next 12 hitters in a row.
Offense isn't doing much, just one run through 4.
And Winck with the one pitch easy groundout. Beautiful. McGuire mic'd up taliking to Kutter post inning in the dugout was pretty cool, too.A mid-inning pitching change without a man on. You love to see it.
I'm listening to the WEEI broadcast and waiting on the T-Mobile offer. I'm sure a few of us are. (So if you want to drop any tidbits from the TV broadcast, they will not be unappreciated!)And Winck with the one pitch easy groundout. Beautiful. Sure! Kutter with TC now, goal was going 5, with pitch count where it was, they pushed the 6th, and Crawford thought it was really big for him. The kid seems poised and confident. The mic'd up stuff w/McGuire was great, they talked about sequencing, and going further and further outside for one batter. Obvious they were on the same page and comfortable with the game plan.
