Funny, that is not the rule, but he is the only one where it isn't the case.I thought of him but I assumed the square had to be filled by someone who won 20 games the same year they won the MVP. Obviously not the case if Eck counts.

I managed four ex-Sox. Didn't go too deep on the cuts though. Four straight days of 9/9.Some real good ex-Red Sox deep cuts available today.
Funny, we only overlapped on ex-Sox once even though I used 6.I managed four ex-Sox. Didn't go too deep on the cuts though. Four straight days of 9/9.
I agree. I used seven former Sox. I guessed on three. For the stolen base column, I could only come up with one Sox player so I fell back on "a Hall of Famer and a guy I remember being fast in the 90s."I feel like today’s might be one of the hardest ones yet. Maybe I just don’t care about stolen base totals?
Also they’re all expansion teams, which impacts the old goats among us whose short-term memory challenges apply to anything in the last 40 years or so.I feel like today’s might be one of the hardest ones yet. Maybe I just don’t care about stolen base totals?
I agree. But because I am horrible with NL. Nevermind the ones that played for the AL. I looked at this one and punted.I feel like today’s might be one of the hardest ones yet. Maybe I just don’t care about stolen base totals?
I thought I had them straight. I did not.
Yup. I gambled onI feel like today’s might be one of the hardest ones yet. Maybe I just don’t care about stolen base totals?
Nope. Operator Error.6/9. Grid definitely had an error today. I put Billy Sample as the Texas Ranger who had a 30+ SB season. He had 44 in 1983. To most of you he is obscure. But I played with him from Little League and onward through American Legion (I'm not sure what they have in New England that's the equivalent, but AL back then was basically HS Sophs through college freshman), and against him in High School. He went to Andrew Lewis HS in Salem, VA and I went to Northside HS in neighboring Roanoke.
i am not good at these things, I was watching some fights last night, opened the grid, thought about it for a minute and closed it.I agree. But because I am horrible with NL. Nevermind the ones that played for the AL. I looked at this one and punted.
Most likely in the wrong square when you entered it. It's happened to more than a few. Use another browser and try again.@Curt S Loew then why did it not accept my answer? I was 6 for 6 with 3 remaining guesses when I entered it. I've also noticed that I sometimes get a blank avatar I stead of a photo, and others entering the same player get a photo. And that's on a PC - not .obile.
I wiffed on 3000ks with the Indians. I had no idea Bob Feller only had 2500 or so.
Lost almost five full seasons of his prime to World War II. Would have been over 3,500 career strikeouts perhaps without missing that time, and well over 300 wins.
Yea that’s true. Him and Ted & Joe D were probably most affected stats wise with WW2.Lost almost five full seasons of his prime to World War II. Would have been over 3,500 career strikeouts perhaps without missing that time, and well over 300 wins.
I made the same mistake. The more obvious answer has been mentioned, but alsoI wiffed on 3000ks with the Indians. I had no idea Bob Feller only had 2500 or so.
I was going to use Frankie Rodriguez but wasn't sure if he played in any games with the Sox. I don't think that IG takes into account minor league appearances.Anyone else use Chico Walker as their RS/CUB or Frankie Rodriguez as their RS/Twin? I got 8/9 with a 163 rarity score. Only missed the Cle/Twin (center) square.
I went David Ross, and Jeff Reardon was way low, imhoOn the Sox/Cubs one, I’m surprised thatBill Mueller was only good for .7%. I’m guessing Lester is getting the lion’s share of attention in that square.
Yes, i think the player has to appear for the MLB team to count. Frankie R had a cup of coffee (unfortunately, it was Sanka) with the Sox.I was going to use Frankie Rodriguez but wasn't sure if he played in any games with the Sox. I don't think that IG takes into account minor league appearances.
screencap? How do you post your grid? When I do it it comes up in one vertical line.
