Yeah, I actually don’t know if that is possible.Yes, I was thinking of the hypothetical scenario in which the 3rd goalie has to come in for team A, one of team A's rostered goalies then recovers, and then team B loses its second goaltender.
Seems like the two linesmen have different standards today doesn’t it?Pens looked offside entering
Fun to think about but fat chance it would ever happen.Yeah, I actually don’t know if that is possible.
Well, they played six whole seasons there, so…Not that they would ever do it, but could Fenway handle an NFL game? I know football has been played there and wonder if the Pats ever considered it.
Yes. They had their family skate last nightDid they all go out boozing last night?
I was thinking more about 2023, not the 1960s. It would seem like one game (like today) would be a cool event.Well, they played six whole seasons there, so…
The Bruins are the worse team today, and a point would be a steal.Feels like one of those games in which the "worse" team could steal, as seemingly what happens to the Bs a handful of times each year (see, e.g., last game vs. Buffalo).
Pens are also on a lengthy losing streak and just barely hanging on to the WC2 spot right now. They're shifting their lines like a playoff game as a result. Can’t take anything away from this one way or the other due to the ice. It’s not like Pittsburgh has found some blueprint how to stop the Bs. Unless the playoffs are moved outdoors.
Yes, that's what I meant -- that the Bs could be the stealer today and not the victim. The Bruins are the worse team today, and a point would be a steal.
Gretzky looks embalmed.
The ice doesn’t have to be that bad. I think the NHL tries too hard to duplicate their indoor ice, instead of making the best outdoor ice possible. The ice is terrible -- Charlie said as much in the interview after the first -- and it shows. I would think that negates much of our advantage. Guess best to sit back and enjoy outdoor hockey.
D'oh.Yes, that's what I meant -- that the Bs could be the stealer today and not the victim.
In my old age I have tried not to complain about refs as much. It's a difficult job.If that’s a penalty, then we should have had one when Marchand got dumped at the end of the 2nd.
Perhaps, but not as awful as our offensive playIn my old age I have tried not to complain about refs as much. It's a difficult job.
But they have been awful in this game.
This is fair, and also makes the false offside hurt that much more.Perhaps, but not as awful as our offensive play
