I wouldn't be surprised. These guys crank about equipment sometimes. Isn't he a Srixon guy? Those are good balls. Pretty much all of the premium balls are fantastic these days though. Are my friends busting my balls or did the mic really catch koepka talking shit about his ball comparing it to titleist
TV coverage doesn't start until 2pm. It's on ESPN+ until then.Turned on at 1 on eons to watch golf. So far just constant, incessant talk and virtually no golf.
Ohhh I swear I read 1 .. that explains what this nonsense is. :click:TV coverage doesn't start until 2pm. It's on ESPN+ until then.
Except he makes a bogey. You and I are looking at an 8 or worse.Niemann is playing golf like I do. Up the wrong fairways. Just tried to punch one through the trees and smoked a tree trunk dead on.
It’s that fisheye camera you see a lot now during football games when somebody scores. And yes - it stinks. The coverage of the tournament is weird. Some of the cameras have some sort of cinematic effect happening with real odd depths of field. I wonder why they are doing that and I wonder what effect that is.

Edit: All in all, he was low man in that group today
Rory and JT as the final pairing tomorrow would be pretty terrific. Maybe with Will and Mito right in front of them for a little less pressure.I think making the cut here is more impressive than doing so at Augusta. Full field, and he doesn't have the same institutional knowledge like he does at Augusta.
Hard to know what to expect the rest of the weekend. He lost steam at Augusta. I thought his game looked very tight yesterrday. The biggest problem is the unpredictable nature of the leg injury. He can have that big pull when he can't get off the right leg, and it's pretty much impossible to know when that is going to happen. That led to his double yesterday.
This should be a great weekend. I like Will Z but I think I'm pulling for JT and Rory. Let down for Rory yesterday but still right in it. Will Z is hitting the shit out of the ball like he always does, it'll just depend on the flat stick. The pause or delay on the back stroke on the short ones gives me nightmares but it's working.
I made exactly this bet against one of my college golf teammates, I think just after Tiger had just turned pro: he had Tiger major championships, and I had Tiger missed cuts in majors. At the time I was incredulous that anyone would take that bet; you'd basically be betting on Tiger to become Jack Nicklaus. Well...he pretty much did, didn't he?
He's in the running to be in last place after three rounds...and an odd number of players made the cut, so if he's last after three rounds and then withdraws, the guy down to play as the marker would be totally bummed. (I think he probably should WD, but I also think he's so competitive that he's not going to want to.)Will he withdraw and forgo tomorrow's round?
Was just coming to post that. How on earth do you keep yourself composed after hitting the lip twice? What an incredible bunker shot.
