Not really. That was a game-ending fumble that went uncalled. If it’s called now, it’s only because McDermott burned his last timeout.I can't recall a team being any luckier than the Bills today. Just insane.
He didn’t give himself up or get touched while downBut isn’t there some weird “down by contact” rule?
How often do you see a guy slide to the ground to make a catch, get back up, and get hit immediately after causing a fumble? Not really. That was a game-ending fumble that went uncalled. If it’s called now, it’s only because McDermott burned his last timeout.
You could see him calling it before the snap. There’s no way he got that TO in
Shin was as the dude touched him. Tough call, though. He was not down
There’s no time of Colts ate quicker. You’re can’t stop clock. It’s just a timing thing. So they weren't going to review it without the timeout? What a stupid league.
They didn’t blow it dead before the snap is my pointYou could see him calling it before the snap.
Pathetic job by officials all around. Stopped the clock. Then don't even review.
Why you don’t run up and spike it there is beyond me. Idiots. That was a fumble. Colts need to go faster there.
Agree. If you deny coaches the chance to challenge in the last two minutes you have to have the booth buzz there. It shouldn't be a question of whether the Bills got the timeout in - the officials *have* to whistle right before the snap to review that themselves inside the final 2 minutes.
They always give the timeout if the coach is in the official’s ear before the snap. I don’t think that should be the way it’s called, but it’s called that way consistently. I mean, think of all the bs “icing the kicker” timeouts. That's a fumble, and it sure seemed like Indy got the snap off in time.
