But why, and why those two games.
But why, and why those two games.
Probably because of the rescheduling of some games earlier in the yearBut why, and why those two games.
Looks like the facility is the only thing the Ravens football operations have shut down in the past few weeks...
To whatever franchise drafts Lawrence... please invest in an o-line.Oh man. That really sucks for the guy. :-(
Wasn't Carson Palmer's injury similar? Wow, terrible news for Bengals' fans.View: https://twitter.com/AdamSchefter/status/1330950466692378628?s=20
MRI revealed Burrow tore ACL, MCL and suffered other structural damage in his knee.
Yep. The good news is that Palmer tore his in January and was back for the third game of the preseason. The bad news is, well, everything else. It's six games of lost development, no offseason time for someone that didn't have it this year and now having to watch Ryan Finley for six games (including one on national TV) who is the worst QB I've ever seen this side of Nathan Peterman. Some franchises just can't have nice things. Suck for Sewell is officially on.Wasn't Carson Palmer's injury similar? Wow, terrible news for Bengals' fans.
It’s only even a possibility if they don’t have a chance at drafting Penei Sewell, who’s supposed to be a generational LT. Even then, they almost never make big draft trades.I wonder if this'd make them a possible trade target if they do finish bottom 5. Would they have enough confidence in Burrow's rehab to trade a pick with a coveted QB prospect at that slot?
That doesn’t sound good. Cancelling practice 2 days before a big division game must mean something bad happened.Something happened in Dallas:

I think a coach or a staff member dropped dead at work. That's the only thing that's plausible. That doesn’t sound good. Cancelling practice 2 days before a big division game must mean something bad happened.
That’s where my head was going. Or I guess a Jovan Belcher situation is possible although probably less likely. Sure we’ll know soon enough.I think a coach or a staff member dropped dead at work. That's the only thing that's plauisble.
Pass the gravy, mashed potatoes, stuffing ... and ketchup?!
Yup, Patrick Mahomes says he loves the tomatoey stuff SO MUCH, he's planning on slathering it all over his Thanksgiving Day meal!!!
The K.C. Chiefs superstar -- well known for his love of ketchup -- confirmed with the guys on KCSP 610 Sports Radio on Monday that he will, in fact, even put ketchup on his turkey.
"Yeah, dude, I mean come on," Mahomes said. "You got to put ketchup on that!"
https://www.tmz.com/2020/11/24/patrick-mahomes-thanksgiving-ketchup-turkey-chiefs-nfl-kansas-city/In fact, Mahomes says if ham is part of his Thanksgiving feast Thursday as well ... that'll get the ketchup treatment too!!!
And, when the guys asked him if he was joking ... Mahomes said flat-out, hell no!
"Come on," the Chiefs star said with a laugh, "you know me better than that!"
Why do anyone care if Brady eats avocado ice cream? Why the hell does anyone care what the dude puts on his Thanksgiving dinner?
Nah, he'll sit down with Mahomes in the locker room and chug bottles of it together like the guys in Super Troopers chugged maple syrup.watch Andy Reid trade Mahomes because of this (/s)
Wait, what? Brady is a hardworking dude with good genes and better luck.Because Brady is, at least arguably, on the cutting edge of a diet and exercise regimen that may be part of his doing things no other human has done. He could actually change sports and even society at large to some extent. Mahomes, on the other hand, likes ketchup.
I think saying that Brady is hardworking (and lucky) doesn't give him nearly enough credit. In a world filled with people who have gotten where they are due to hard work and good genes, he stands out as someone who has completely dedicated every facet of his to staying on the field and performing at a high level, and the results are unprecedented.Wait, what? Eh. Bernard Hopkins led a much more undisciplined first half of his life and held a major boxing title into his late 40’s and maybe even till 50?I think saying that Brady is hardworking (and lucky) doesn't give him nearly enough credit. There is massive value in healthy living. And how it can add longevity to an athletic career. Look at Lebron, too, he spends millions on his body every year. His results also speak for themselves. And, yes, both gentleman were blessed with incredible genetics. But, frankly, every single athlete in the professional realm is blessed with incredible genetics. There isn't a single player in the NFL who didn't with the genetic lottery. Their bodies are different. And if they weren't, they would break down many years before going professional was an option. But some last more than others. Lebon and Brady are great examples of how much you can get out of your body if you take the best care of it.Eh. I’d be shocked if there were more than 20 guys in the NFL who didn’t drink, smoke, party or eat shitty foods some time. Maybe Drew Brees is another, which kind of strains the unprecedented part. I think the Spartan athlete is mostly marketing and a myth and I don’t think there’s anything super special or unique about the Brady method beyond being super talented and genetically lucky and devoting most of every waking moment and decisionmaking to staying healthy.
So, I guess we’re saying the same thing. His dedication is unrivaled and it’s born fruit. But it’s not like he has some method or insight or technique that can change lifestyles or the way people eat and train.
And yes, he’s lucky because if he took a headshot and got concussed or paralyzed or hit in the chest like Bledsoe or suffered any of most of the other unfortunate hits that others have taken, all the concussion water and avocado ice cream in the world wouldn’t let him avoid the damage.
Like, the hit that took out his new 14(?) years ago would blow it up just as bad today.
There's the rub. Part of his devotion is reflected in a dietary regimen he and his gurus have devised, and which by all accounts he rigorously adheres to. It's an every waking moment thing. How much is his diet a part of his health? We'll never know. But Brady's combination of longevity and skill retention is pretty much unprecedented in the NFL. Yeah, Brees is up there too, and Warren Moon was still good in his early 40s, and I guess Blanda could still at least kick at 40. Overall, though, the vast majority of players had fallen off the cliff long before Brady's age -- it's just no contest there.... I don’t think there’s anything super special or unique about the Brady method beyond being super talented and genetically lucky and devoting most of every waking moment and decisionmaking to staying healthy.
....
their #4, would be our #1 (with JE injured)He's a pretty good player, I thought.
Brees interestingly enough has a diet where he is pretty strict about his foods and avoids ones that he believes cause inflammation, much like Brady.Eh. Bernard Hopkins led a much more undisciplined first half of his life and held a major boxing title into his late 40’s and maybe even till 50?

Nah, he'll want to sign with a playoff teamSign him, Bill.
In fairness, neither did Mike Zimmer and friends: that Philly team was a 14-2 house.Wait, so hiring the guy who couldn’t stop Nick fucking Foles in the biggest game of the year was a bad idea? Who knew...
