Have not seen a full schedule yet for 2021, but Jen McCaffery says the Red Sox will open up at home on April 1st against Baltimore.
Consider yourself lucky to avoid all those Cubs fansWe lose our chance to go to Wrigley.
We had an amazing time there 2005with quite a few SoSHersConsider yourself lucky to avoid all those Cubs fans
First 2 would be wonderful. Second 2 are absolutely vital. The last one, I hope it happens. For you and millions of others.Sale on the hill, Mookie back in right, Biden behind the Resolute desk, vaccine in my veins, and my ass in a small seat out in section 41.......... a guy can dream, can’t he?
There's an earlier bad stretch, too, from the end of May to the middle of June: Four against Houston and three against the Yankees on the road; four against Houston and three against Toronto at home; and then two on the road in Atlanta. There's a couple of breathers in there against Kansas City before it gets brutal again with TB, NYY and a West Coast swing before the break. Then coming out of the ASG is the 15 games against NYY and Toronto.15 games in a row in July against the Yankees and Blue Jays
This is what I feel, but about Pitt.We lose our chance to go to Wrigley.
I hate interleauge games in September. It should be all division opponents like the NFL.
Someone from the AL has to play the NL in the final games of the season. More accurately, someone from the AL has to play the the NL every series of the season. Schedule can't work any other way with the current league/division alignment.Ending the year against the Nationals? That is beyond idiotic.
Isn't that what Baltimore, Detroit or Seattle was created for?Someone from the AL has to play the NL in the final games of the season. More accurately, someone from the AL has to play the the NL every series of the season. Schedule can't work any other way with the current league/division alignment.
I don't know why that is. You know for sure games are meaningful until teams are mathematically eliminated. There's a better chance the last series is meaningless.Ending the year against the Nationals? That is beyond idiotic.
I assume given Covid uncertainties even next year, they still want to minimize travel distance to the extent possible. Assuming there is still no vaccine (or at least one available to all) at the start of next season, the Red Sox and Yankees playing interleague games against the Nats, Phillies, and Mets is probably marginally safer than playing those games against, say, the Giants, Dodgers, and Padres.Another strange thing about these is that it has teams playing the same NL division in both 2020 and 2021 even though the interleague schedule is 1/3 of the games this year. Maybe because they know there’s a good chance this year doesn’t happen/finish?
They have decided. It's Phillies in odd years and Braves in even years. The Blue Jays get the other one.the Braves have some quirks in their schedule... all their NL West road games are backloaded to late August / September. They also have two days in a row off between Yankees and Giants at home.
also looking at this again, the Phillies are our "natural" rival next year, Braves this year. Can they just decide already?
That's 2020All games being moved back a half hour at home to 7:30 aka 7:40? I know everyone for years has been saying "man I wish the games started later. I love Sunday Night Baseball start times!"

How many falls has Corvid [sic] 19 been around?Plus isn't Corvid 19 supposed to return with a vengeance every fall.
I remember when a 4 day AS break seemed like eternity.I thought they made “permanent” the 4 day AS break? Weird to see game on Thursday again.
I'm with you on everything except the seat in section 41. I'll be in section 15.Sale on the hill, Mookie back in right, Biden behind the Resolute desk, vaccine in my veins, and my ass in a small seat out in section 41.......... a guy can dream, can’t he?
