Wait, wtf, 2 judges gave rounds 2+3 to Jones?
These judges have no idea what they are watching. One of them used to post on mma.tv (which is now mixed martial arts.com) and he was a fucking moron.

This just sucks. I love this sport so much but I don’t want it to become like boxing where every big fight will have a dark cloud over the event because someone might be crooked.
Exactly my thoughts. We're just looking at two different styles / strategies. That's all.I mean, just because a dude is moving laterally while another is coming forward doesn’t mean the former isn’t in control. That’s how Ali an Holmes both fought. Reyes was totally in control the first 3 rounds, even if he was moving around.
Yeah, look, penalize a guy for going backwards - like Jones did every time he got caught. Giving points to the guy plodding forward over the guy taking angles and circling up on his toes while landing more shows an amateurish understanding of fighting.Exactly my thoughts. I started watching religiously around 197. This is the worst big fight decision I’ve seen. This isn’t new. There have been a lot of awful decisions.
Another way I think about it is, fighting is like dancing. You can't have two leads in a dance. That doesn't mean the person who doesn't take lead is doing something wrong.Yeah, look, penalize a guy for going backwards - like Jones did every time he got caught. Just mechanically, unless you’re in with a much bigger puncher, which Jones wasn’t tonight, the guy with the lateral movement is actually dictating the action. The guy coming straight ahead has to continually reorient himself to deal with the angles. That’s why Reyes was getting off first and quicker.Another way I think about it is, fighting is like dancing. You can't have two leads in a dance. I don’t even necessarily agree with this. All things equal I vote for the guy coming forward. BUT all things were not equal in rd 3, Reyes landed more shots but you could land more shots and lose a round....The thing is, I had Reyes landing BOTH more shots and better shots. The only thing Jones had was coming forward.Another way I think about it is, fighting is like dancing. You can't have two leads in a dance. I actually don't think we're that far apart. I said the same thing last page. If the fight is close, then sure, take octagon control into account. But for me, it wasn't even close to being a consideration in rounds 1-3. As you point out, Reyes owned Jones in those rounds while backing up.I don’t even necessarily agree with this. The only things that doesn’t make me really mad about this is Bones wins that fight if they keep fighting. I get those are not the rules and I am mad that Reyes got robbed but not as mad as I could get. It is more of a simmering rage than a rolling boil of rage.

its going to with the guys who draw this wretched company money. This just sucks. I love this sport so much but I don’t want it to become like boxing where every big fight will have a dark cloud over the event because someone might be crooked.

Connor won 1&2 going away and that 4th round in the second Diaz fight was perhaps Connor's greatest, or at least guttiest, performance in UFC. I can see an argument for giving Diaz a 10-8 in round 3, which he probably would have gotten under the new scoring rules, if any of the idiot judges followed them, so perhaps it should have been a draw, but Connor won that fight.. conor lost the 2nd diaz fight.

Think Klose was named after the cologne his dad was wearing at conception?Dariush is another good jiu jitsu guy but he got KTFO pretty bad in one of the last fights I remember him in
Loving it.This is the best women’s division fight in any organization I remember seeing
I thought the weight cut excuse was BS but maybe it was trueWhat’s crazy is that Rose steamrolled Joanna.
Heart says Joanna won, but I think Zhang gets it.
Rose is amazing and Joanna was doing that dumb feinting that made her so easy to time.I thought the weight cut excuse was BS but maybe it was true
