The Saints have looked as vulnerable as the Pats over the past month.
There seem to be no power teams. LAR, NO, KC, NE, Hou all with weaknesses. The maybe 'best' team currently, LAC, just got dominated by Bal last nite. Pats take care of business next week v NYJ, get a bye and a home game and see what happens.

That Kamara run was mesmerizing. Now I understand why he doesn't touch the ball, he's just too good and Payton thinks it's unfair. Or his son his Ingram on his fantasy team.

Just caught up on the DVR. Eli Apple might be one of the worst players in the NFL. Not just cornerbacks. Players. And he's apparently a clubhouse issue (or at least he was with the Giants). Dude is bad. He could singlehandedly sink the Saints season at some point in the playoffs.

"I thought we were playing two teams. I thought we were playing the (opponents) and the striped shirts... I haven't seen anything like in 18, 19 years in the league.... I'm sure I'm getting fined already, so i care not to say anything more. But something has to be done about that. That's ridiculous."

Who said this, Tomlin?

DotB, bigger travesty?

Ingram getting touches over Kamara
Gore getting touches over Drake
Howard getting touches over Cohen
Murray getting touches over Cook

Why would you ever split Brees out wide? I just don't understand that plan. If I were a Saints fan, I would be losing my mind. I am losing my mind anyway.

Here's my order:

Ingram over Kamara
Murray over Cook
Gore over Drake
Howard over Cohen

Here's my order:

Ingram over Kamara
Murray over Cook
Gore over Drake
Howard over Cohen
This list is perfect and unequivocally correct.

Cohen is excellent, but Howard is fine and Cohen needs the help. Murray and Ingram should never see work, unless it's to fill in because the guy needs to rest.

It’s not a 1 back league anymore.
It is for the teams that have great running backs. I don't see anyone stealing significant carries from Zeke Elliott, Todd Gurley, Saquon Barkley, Christian McCaffrey....

If you have guys like Kamara and Cook, who are great runners and very good in the passing game, there's just no reason to platoon them. It's different when you have a Sony Michel and a James White (or cough, Rex Burkhead apparently). Kamara and Cook are studs, legit game breakers....Put the ball in their hands as much and as often as you can.

I'd have gone with Murray over Cook first because Murray is slower than I am.
This isn't inaccurate, but Kamara is so slippery and impossible to tackle. He always finds the holes. And he's incredibly fast. Ingram getting more carriers than Kamama is malpractice. Getting them at the goalline should result in an immediate firing.

Oh, a pass to Ingram and he drops the ball and nearly fumbles.

Sure, that's better than what Kamara would have done.

That's the only decision I had an issue with, so I can see it going either way. Ingram is at least a serviceable running back. Murray is useless except for when Cook needs a breather.

There's a couple others you're missing, LeGarrette Blount over Kerryon Johnson. Anybody in Denver over Philip Lindsay.

Pitt shuts down NO on this drive. I wonder if that has to do with Kamara not being involved on any of the plays.

Nah, probably not.

4.56 40. I think he’s much more shifty than he is fast.

He apparently reaches top speed faster than any other back in the NFL. He's plenty fast. And quicker than anyone. On top of that, I'm not sure his balance is human.

Watch him take those swing passes and run by everyone and then say he's not fast.
