Tanaka is getting some time off now, it looks like he should be about 20 innings behind his 2017 pace by the end of June. CC I don't think has ever faded down the stretch of a season, even this older version. At some point we have to start trusting this version more, he now is up to 71 starts and 404 innings since the start of 2016 with a 3.69 ERA and a 118 ERA+.
I think the question is who will be alongside those two and Severino in the postseason, Gray, German, an internal reinforcement (Sheffield?) or an external reinforcement. I am guessing it will be Happ or Fulmer at this point, we'll see.
