I called this a couple of games ago. Only way Marchand is getting a penalty is if they call embellishment too.
I hate complaining about refs — it’s just part of the game — but I’m with you.
Stick was between the legs.
And how, if you call a tripping, do you also call embellishment????
I purposely am not watching this game because of the bullshit that was the officiating Friday night.

I'm monumentally confused; how can you call a penalty on Tampa and then call a penalty for unsportsmanlike; it's one or the other, how can it be both?
That's nuts; try explaining that to a casual fan.
Essentially they're taking the position that Marchand was interfered with in a manner that warranted a penalty on Hedman, but that he FELL TOO DRAMATICALLY.
Good luck policing that distinction in anything resembling a consistent manner.
So how is it not interference for the Bruins player to be decked by a guy who blatantly wasn’t going for the puck?
They are going to call penalties anyway. So Bruins should get their money’s worth. Finish checks hard.
I don’t know if Cassidy is wired for it. We need a good “stop screwing us meltdown”
