It sounds from cshea that my estimate of where the betting line would be is somewhat off - my call was predicated on a fair line being set, on the basis that I'm rubbish at guessing these things. But if you can find a reputable betting line - Vegas, UK, wherever - in due course at any point prior to the Masters along these lines that you're happy with for the over, I will indeed take the under for the stipulated wager (a dozen golf balls of the other's choice).I'll take that bet straight up. We'll split the difference and say 25th, I'll take the over and you take the under. Bet is for a dozen balls of winners choice.
That's a good point. What if we make it Top 15 you win, 16-20 push, 21st or below I win?You won't find a fair line from Vegas, they know Tiger will be over bet, so they'll set him high.
Deal! That's a good point. What if we make it Top 15 you win, 16-20 push, 21st or below I win?
If he doesn't play (or finish) bet is off.OK then. (What if he injures himself before the tournament and doesn't play?)
If he doesn't play, that's fine...but if he starts but doesn't finish (which could be due to injury or withdrawal of another kind), I think that should be a win for me. Not that I expect Tiger to start but not finish, but still. If he doesn't play (or finish) bet is off.

I love old courses. I could watch this course every week.Maybe I’m in the minority, but I like this track. It seems like a course where the players can go low, but there’s also enough trouble out there where big numbers and lots of bogeys are possible. Maybe part of it is it’s new to the players so they haven’t quite figured the course out. The altitude also adds an interesting element that we don’t see often on tour. It’s not Doral, but I still enjoy the tournament.
I like it too. Not really a par shooting course. And I love the altitude element.Maybe I’m in the minority, but I like this track. It wasn't 0% but it was definitely a pretty low percentage chance.I would guess that Sharma has almost no chance of winning this
Except for that last putt. Way too much pace.Phil looks very sharp today. Good to see.
Then he turns around and nails the 8 foot comebacker.Except for that last putt. Way too much pace.
Hitting clutch par come-backers is always good though.Except for that last putt. Way too much pace.
I can forgive them because every tourney Phil is contention in literally might be his last career win.Hitting clutch par come-backers is always good though.
The announcing team is brutal today. I know this isn't exclusively a golf broadcast problem but hearing how old Phil is every couple minutes is tiring. And the constant reminders of his accomplishments.
Neither did he, I guess... wow!!He’s gonna run out of holes though. I don’t think -14 does it.
He holed out and ran, instead. He’s gonna run out of holes though. I don’t think -14 does it.
Oh yeah? He’s gonna run out of holes though. I don’t think -14 does it.
Me too. JT pulled that one out of his *ss.Kind of pissed he holed out. -15 would have been a more exciting overall finish.
Maybe not, though. Plenty of people have a pretty good shot at -16 now.Me too. JT pulled that one out of his *ss.
