I'm happy for JG and all, but he's fucking with our draft pick positioning
He is doing God’s work taking Jax down.

I don’t know if it much matters. Players are pretty fungible in that range, and if the Pats really need to pull the trigger on a Brady successor, they will use their 1 if need be.

Whatever happened to Dez? I remember years ago in Week 1, Dez was torching Revis and Al Michaels basically called him the next Randy Moss. He was a top 5 WR.

Is it Dak? Is he not elite?

I’m not saying I agree, but the SSS today shows Brady having a worse game against a worse defense with better weapons around him.
Please stop. That isn't true. He was in the road. This defense by Jacksonville has been trash and heavily penalized.
Also, Goodwin is playing better than any Pats pass catcher not named Gronk. And I am super happy for him with all his tough personal issues the last couple of months.

Niners are going to be real contenders next year. And IIRC they have a shitload of cap space.

Here
Is this serious?
Yes, Jimmy is absolutely unreal, and I was and still am in favor of the trade. He’s playing with a bunch of bums with little time to learn the playbook and marching consistently against the best D in the league and going to win 4 in a row with a team that was on pace for one win. He is unbelievable.

I don’t think BB could risk it with Brady playing so well, but how can anyone not look at what Jimmy’s done in complete awe? This is really special.

Actually, what you’re saying isn’t true.

Partially. Almost nobody wants them to have moved on from Tom. But there are a few making the argument. And the argument so infuriates some here, they want JG to have a so-so career. So when JG shines, it makes some people fucking crazy.

Jimmy is having a good game, but isn't the objective take on this game the play of the 49ers defense and overall offense (not just Jimmy)?

This is how I feel too. I don’t hate the trade - that’s a narrative being pushed by others and acting as if it’s coming from me. Keeping Brady doesn’t suck.

But Jimmy’s real and he’ll still be playing in the year, say, 2022 and beyond.

Jimmy’s doing a lot right now with little prep and little talent.

It’s doubly delicious. Nice to see JG do well. But the national media posse were forming a Cialis woodie over the brewing storm in Jax and them maybe taking the Pats down. Awesome to see them taken down a few pegs.

I actually agree with this except for the talent part. His skill players aren't the best but they are playing out of their collective minds lately.

He’s 21/29 with 2 TD passing and 1 TD running, and he’s closing in on 250 yards against the best defense in football using what had previously been one of the most abysmal offenses in the NFL.

Jimmy’s a huge part of what’s happening today.

Who makes the NFC playoffs more fun? Seattle Dallas or Atlanta?

I hate watching the Dallas offense. I'm hoping Seattle makes it. I've been watching Seattleall season for fantasy purposes, Russell Wilson has been amazing this year.

Jimmy is playing well today. But his defense has given him some short fields and have completely shut down Bortles.
If you watched the Jags play today and this was their 'A' game on defense - I don't know what to say.

Edit - the offense was abysmal because they were starting a rookie (3rd round pick?).

It always warms the cockles of my heart to see Dallas lay an egg in the playoffs.

Your avatar is funny imho. And I think you are making good points about Garoppolo overall.

The Jags are being completely destroyed here. Amazing...
