Your Most Dreaded SB Match-Up

Steelers-Cowboys is my least ideal 2 team matchup; I hate everything about the 1970's anyway.

After that, it's any matchup involving the Jets or Dolphins or Ravens from the AFC. And other than Dallas, none of the NFC teams bother me enough to care too strongly.

That defense wasn't good and a lot of their success was turnover driven, so their luck was about to run out sooner or later. I don't see a scenario in which the Packers don't hang 30+ on them in the Super Bowl. The offense was amazing and could have still pulled a win off, though. I still think the 2015 team was better and would have won the Super Bowl were it not for injuries.
Fair. I don’t think I’ll ever forgive Chris Harper. That 2015 team was awesome until the injuries piled up.

Steelers vs. Cowboys for me.
Yup. As a scarred former Houston Oilers fan, it can be no other.

Really didn't like Denver-Seattle either, as my fandom moved to San Francisco. That makes me dislike the Seahawks for obvious reasons. I still retain an irrationally strong childhood hatred for the Broncos for a fan throwing a snowball at Ray Wersching on a Monday night game, causing a failed attempt that was the ultimate difference in the game.

I blame the coaching staff more than Harper. YMMV.
It's pretty crazy the Broncos erased 14-point deficits with that offense against the two other 12-4 AFC teams. Not only would they not have gotten the 1-seed if they lost either of those games, but they wouldn't have even won the division. There's zero chance that team would've won three road games in January.

The amount of stuff that had to go right for those Broncos to end up with the 1 seed was probably more miraculous than the 2001 Pats run.

Edit: not to mention that in the divisional round, the Steelers led 13-12 with 10 minutes to play, ball on the Denver 34... and they fumbled on 2nd and 4.

For the same reason that people have disliked really good players throughout the history of all sports. Quarterbacks seem to bear this more than others, which is likely part and parcel of playing the marquee position.
It's a minor thing, but really dislike him for the sideline plays... QB's have the shit protected out of them and he exploits the hell out of it with that sideline dance he does when he runs out of bounds or doesnt... and he always does it with that stupid grin on his face...

That whole final stretch in 2015 included so many bad coaching decisions. Having Harper out there on that weather to return a punt in Denver, kicking off in OT against the Jets, the myriad stupid ways they gave up points to the Eagles after getting an early two score lead at home, running the corpse of Steven Jackson up the middle on 25 consecutive plays against the Dolphins. They needed one of those games to be a win to get home field and they bungled them all. The Week 17 one I can kinda get because the team was just so banged up it was hard to run a traditional offense, but they never even tried.

Pick-6, blocked punt TD, and a punt return TD allowed in the same game was borderline worse than giving up 2 kickoff return TDs in the finale this year. My god that game sucked.

Mahomes is the one some of us fear could come close to matching Brady, or at least coming close enough, to be in the GOAT conversation. It’s stupid and childish and pointless, I fully acknowledge that. But because of it, I root for the field vs. Mahomes every year, this season included. That Brady beat him, head to head, in a Super Bowl makes me very happy.

From a historical POV, I absolutely hated the Gruden Bowl. Screw both those franchises generally, those teams, and Gruden in particular.

Going with hypotheticals, Jet-Cowboys just because one of them would end up winning. A Texas Bowl or something like DC-Jacksonville would suck because owners and for reasons that I won't get into.

Philly
hard to top Giants-Ravens for most dreaded
Eagles-Jets would be the most annoying
Cardinals-Houston would be the dullest

Shitty actor, borderline conceited, plays for the Chiefs, great quarterback, came into prominence when Brady was fading ...
All those commercials he's in, although I don't blame a guy for making all the dough he can...career could end in any game. But, they are definitely annoying. My wife doesn't like him because of his always wearing a headband. I don't know about that one.

Brady has been the only guy to beat Mahomes in the playoffs the last 5 seasons, except for the Burrow game last year.

No Brady and Mahomes is going for his 4th title tomorrow.
