McCovey Cove attention whore. I've seen that one before. Some sheet metal, some flashing lights...
I have to give him props though. If I tried to make something like that I would sink with it

"Cheap fabric, and dim lighting. That's how you move merchandise."

Exactly, a spaceship.

Yost double-switches in the seventh, inserting Jayson Nix ... who has not had a hit in a Royals uniform.

Why does that matter? Because, in the 8th, Dyson will lead off (probably a pinch-hitter), followed by Nix in the pitcher's spot. The problem is that Nix has to bat, because they have no more infielders

If Herrera were in that spot, you'd just pinch hit for the pitcher. So instead of Butler and Willingham hitting in the 8th, it will be one of them and Nix

Add to that, what are the chances of Infante's spot coming around again anyway?

Ned Yost's best friend is named Lieutenant Dan.

So who all has had a better postseason run than him?

This is Beckett 2007 but seemingly more dominant.
Beckett faced stellar offenses that year.

Big decision for Bochy. Gordon, Cain, Hosmer. Start the inning with Bum, medium leash. Or, go to Casilla and save some Bum bullets for a 7th game.

I'd stick with him. You just don't want to give the Royals any reason to hope ... and taking him out would, momentarily, make them think it was possible

I'm of this mindset.

I don't think the Giants are going to win tomorrow personally.

That would be so much funnier if we hadn't already beat it to death

Here is the key to the Royals bullpen - they are great if hitters don't get a good look at them (e.g. in a short series) but as we are seeing, Herrera is hittable once batters have seen him a few times.

Different because he only had one series to play, but I'm not sure anything can top Bob Gibson in the '67 Series:  3 games, 3 complete games, 3 wins (Games 4 & 7 on 3-days rest).  27 IP, 3 ER, 26/5 K/BB ratio.

Or left if he is left in there to long but whatever.
