I've seen this movie before. And I loved it. Now for the remastered version.
Sox in 4.

Am I the only one here who senses an anti-Red Sox phenomenon on MLB.com?? They first went by position and had Dodgers winning 7 of 9, 10 positions and then ended by saying Dodgers in 7
I hope to see more people picking the Dodgers, just like the Yankees and Astros were favored in the other two series. Worked out good for us.

I'm in majority for a change, Sox in 6! Am I the only one here who senses an anti-Red Sox phenomenon on MLB.com?? They first went by position and had Dodgers winning 7 of 9, 10 positions and then ended by saying Dodgers in 7
Sox are pretty heavy favorites, so all media outlets are going to try to push the narrative to compensate. They're not necessarily trying to pick a side or anything, but it's only natural to be looking for any evidence to go against the favorites because that's more interesting than everyone picking the Sox.

I was watching mlbn and they picked the Sox in a number of categories, including starters and lineup. They only favored the Dodgers in bullpen, iirc. Anyway, all of this is just noise. Nobody knows anything.

I saw that, and they also picked LA in the manager category because been there last year. I don't know, unless Cora loses his magic wandoo, as the Giants announcers call it, I'll take him. Roberts can tend to overmanage, although maybe he's improved in that category from last year. Still, Cora.

Umm, Cora was there last year and helped the Astros win it all against Roberts’ team. The Managers should be listed as pick’em at the very least.

I have a BB-lite amount of faith in Cora. I know the general consensus is that a manager can only do so much but I feel really good about having him captaining the ship.

Another coaching point, fwiw, is that Sox hitting coach Tim Hyers was assistant hitting coach for the Dodgers in '16 and '17.

Sox in 5. I debated 4. I just think this team will find a way in every game. This is irrational, of course, but I'm not being paid to be rational.

I picked Sox in 6.

I spent almost two years in Southern California for an internship/co-op. I lived in Pasadena and grew to love it. I never saw a Dodgers game, but a roommate gave me a Dodgers pennant for a going away present. I was not a baseball fan yet, so I hung this pennant up in a few rooms until it eventually got lost/discarded over the years. Put it this way, I'm looking forward to seeing the Sox win this World Series but if the Dodgers manage to win, I'll know a lot of happy people.

Maybe Eric Byrnes didn't know that Cora was in the Astros dugout last year. I knew that. Duh. Always wonder how much the bench coach does though.
I'll go out on a limb and side with this, regardless of what it's about. The guy thinks Eovaldi is one of the best pitchers in the game

In another thread, I picked the Sox in 3 with the mercy rule being invoked after 3 consecutive 17-0 bloodbaths. Unfortunately, that option wasn't available in this poll.

Despite the lopsided scores, this series will not lack for drama: Joe Kelly will drill Manny Machado just for the sheer thrill of it, inciting a series of bench-clearing brawls during which Yasiel Puig will sucker punch a bat boy, a ball girl and Ted Barrett, in that order. Within minutes, Joe Torre will hand down season-long suspensions for 2019 to all Red Sox, past, present and future (with Eovaldi's suspension to be waived should he elect to re-sign with the MFYs).

Well you didn't pick the right number of games but deserve a bunch of bonus points for Pearce and Price prediction. I didn't pick any because I didn't want to jinx them.
