all these hitters make low & outside pitches look easy to hit. on both teams.

shame a bit of a tight zone on Springer v Jansen mattered.

It's been tremendous seeing how emotional the players have been -- bat flips sure, but really every at bat has shown up on the players' faces. Correa flying out of the dugout to signal Fisher to slide was awesome. And I could watch Puig all day.

Hopefully this can continue -- best way for baseball to create stars.

30 ERs in the postseason for the Astros' bullpen in 16 games, somehow they are one win away from being champions.

On FS1 postgame, Springer just credited Cora with getting him to stay positive after botching the diving catch. And Springer homered on the first pitch.

A-Rod also went back to game 2 and pulling Hill early.

If Roberts doesn't go to the pen so much, it's very possible they win one of games 2/5. Morrow (and Jansen?) being burnt out negates the Dodgers bullpen advantage.

I'll repeat what a lot of others have already said: A-Rod is good on TV.

This place really is a bandbox, distances of the final three HRs:

Correa-328 feet
McCann-363 feet
Puig-349 feet

at 1,040 feet, that total equals the total distance of the last 45 home runs in The Bidet

Just shows you that there’s no formula for winning. The last few winners have all been built differently, going back to ‘13 Sox to the Giants, Royals, Cubs and now maybe the Astros. Us fans obsess too much over the structure of the team.

I remember a few years ago when groundball pitchers were en vogue, great speed and an awesome BP could overcome a lack of power or a low team OBP. Now the Astros have an otherworldly offense with a terrible ‘pen and they’re 1 game away from winning.

Lots of conversation on the amount of curves/breaking balls being thrown as well. As well as a focus on Home Runs. Manufacturing runs is not a precedent as much with these teams. Just interesting to see what teams do to win in these situations of course. Great baseball nonetheless this Series. Exceptionally entertaining.

I think the top handful of teams have such good young cores and such smart people running things that we're going to see some real heavyweight battles the next few years, as these teams get deeper and deeper around their stud cores already in place.

Its amazing how entertaining it is just reading the game thread here and wondering how many people hit the sack early and bailed

A sped up version is on MLBN now, Altuve just tied it at 7.
Unfortunately I am in a hotel room that doesn't have mlbn. Feel so deprived! Thanks for the tip, tho. Maybe mlbn will run it later this winter. And I just figured out I fell asleep during the fifth, when it looked as though the Dodgers were winning. Since I have to have surgery in a few hours I did the right thing.

I'm one, conked out after midnight after the Dodgers went quietly in the top of the 8th. 6am wake up, old man, had to do it.

Gonna have to cowboy up tomorrow night.

Well, that was certainly an incredible game, I regret missing it but I don't regret going to bed. Games that end at a quarter to 2am are nearly impossible stay up for, especially on a Sunday.

It's a conundrum, I am 45 years old and I'm not old enough to stay up to watch the world series.
