I haven't been able to stay awake for the entirety of any of the games, I wish there was at least one 4 PM start.

It'll be the shortest of leashes for Vogey tonight. Petit has to be allowed to make an impact on this series and it has to be today. If Lincecum's healthy I'd like to see Bochy piece together 6 or 7 from those 3 one way or another.

Where are you? It hasn't been raining at all today south of the Mission.

Oakland hills. Still showers on and off. I'll blame it on the elevation?

Edit: Nothing AT ALL? We've gotten 13 millimeters of rain here and counting. Most of it before 8 AM...

Edit #2. Huh. Yeah, the weather stations nearest to Giants Stadium show at most about 4mm of rain, and nothing after the morning. Huh. Yay for orographic lift! I need the rain!

Bochy has Juan Perez in LF vs a LHP. Said Morse "has not been out there in 2 months." And it's going to be a breezy night.

Weather looks pretty good on TV at AT&T. No tarp on the field, just the usual one on the mound. Not a topic with the talking heads.

Play ball!

You Californians really measure rain in millimeters?

You've gone metric in Oakland. Sorry, Oakland hills.

The other big wind day in the playoffs in SF, even Hunter Pence completely misjudged a ball in right, as did Grichuk. Maybe the wind is the big equalizer and it doesn't matter a lot who's playing the outfield?

Metric is the one true god. Tell me again what the English units for electric potential are?
Volt from the Italian Volta, Amp from the French Ampere, Ohm from the German of the same name, Watt, Scottish. What is your point?

Those are all SI, therefore metric, units.

Trivia: Name the one SI unit named for someone who was born in the United States.

"He knows a change up is coming ..."

I'm sorry but you don't get that from the vast majority of color men in real time.

Just as you don't get from color men in real time the deke from the CF on the run scoring double.

But go ahead, bash HR ..
