Dodgers took care of business last night in the quickest WS game since 1992. Couple big bombs, Kershaw cruised, Kenley closed, no sweat. Well, lots of sweat. It will be 95 degrees at first pitch tonight. Verlander vs Hill. The Dodger juggernaut rolls on.

I once walked from Beverly Hills to the UCLA area in the middle of the day. It took 45 minutes before I saw another human outdoors that wasn't in a vehicle.

When I lived in Venice, getting to a 7pm Dodger game, about 15 miles away, took an hour and a half minimum. There's a good reason everyone gets there in the 3rd inning.
That’s why I live in NorCal.;) My wife says she wouldn’t mind living in LA, but there’s never been an opportunity, happily for me.

I absolutely love it up here after just getting here in February. It would be awesome if I could find work after my military retirement in a few years (somewhere between 2 and 6) to stay here until the kids graduate, but somehow I kind of doubt it.
