Agreed. I already started getting text messages last night comparing us to the A's from 1988. Dodger fans are going to be impossible to deal with, so I hope the Sox can end the quickly with a decisive victory.
Three Lefty starters who feature good breaking pitches are an issue, basically neutralizes Moreland and JBJ. My guess is JBJ sits versus Hill or Kershaw.
Interesting that Kershaw has had a reverse split the past two seasons. Hill had no split this season and a big reverse split last season.
Again, kudos to the great pickup of Steve Pearce, who has a definite platoon split, hitting lefties better than righties. I assume Pearce starts against the lefties.

They had Uecker for one inning. I can imagine their asking Scully to do the same, but somehow I think he'll say no, as he is retired.
Roberts randomly being the bench player that gets the focus during the AB is great here -- but it should be noted that the focus move done by the cameraman in CF before the 18th pitch (starting at 3:35) is the most intentionally artistic shot I've ever seen during a live sporting event.
I highly doubt this will be the case.
Edit:I guess I should add some actual content. JDM won't sit and I doubt Mookie starts at 2nd though I suppose he could end up there after a double switch. If both of those things are true then for JBJ to start all three potential games in LA then Benny would need to sit all three games and I don't see that happening.

Either way, I love it when players from warm weather cities bundle up for games in Boston. Looking forward to watching Puig in his powder blue hoodie chasing a ball around the RF warning track.

Red Sox played in that kind of weather just last week. I was at game one of the ALCS and it was definitely low-mid 40s by the middle innings. A few of us had a good chuckle at how bundled up some of the Astros were.
