Wordpress site ?: Any secure way to post employee paychecks?

In my not-so-much free time I build websites. An oil firm has contacted me for a WP site with a catch: they want to have a secure area where their 40 or so employees can log in and access their individual pay stubs, time sheets, safety forms, etc.

The company uses Quickbooks for payroll. I know you can easily have secure login pages on WP but can't find any easy way to set this up that wouldn't be a colossal time suck for the company.

Any ideas?

Yeah, don't use WordPress for this or even do it yourself. Way too much shit to worry about to carry a benefit for employees to check dumb paystubs.

If it was internal only MAYBE

Nip's right. Under absolutely no circumstances should you do this. I cannot stress that enough.

If this is important to the company, they should pay for the right product. The ramifications of not doing so are huge.

What's funny is that this is a common request. People want their WordPress to DO EVERYTHING. Every time a client approaches our studio with this I get a massive headache.

I've had some funny requests - this one totally caught me off-guard.

I think my other favorite was for Wordpress to automatically update inventory. Good times!
