Thibs had a damnable time getting the Wolves to play D last season. And he's going to trade Rubio (a good defensive player) and acquire IT4?? Scoring wasn't a huge problem for them.

Could the future pick they got from Philly (Lakers in '18 or SAC/Philly in '19) be part of the deal for the 7th? That pick plus Bradly and maybe a Celtics first? Then #3, #7 and Crowder for Porzingis?

Still think Phil is jerking us around, either way.

Possibly, but things seem to be getting more specific now. Fun stuff.

Coworkers buddy works at CAA, said to expect it to happen tonight for two picks at least. Everything they're hearing is KP to Boston. Grain of salt and all that.

A couple of questions: Anyway it's possible to get KP without giving up #3? Also when it comes to the LAL/SAC pick, are they connected? Can they trade the LAL pick while keeping the '19 Sac pick with the #1 protection?

LAL/SAS are connected. It is one or the other. 2-5 next year, 2-29 the year after (best it can be is # 2, worst it could be would be #29 if in some stupid world SAC and PHI finish with the two best records).

Of course there is a way to get KP without # 3, but doubtful

Hard to see any deal for Porzingis that doesn't involve #3.

Well, every thread concerning a major trade has one. Behold, the 1st of it's kind in regards to the Porzingis rumors:

I remember someone who had a friend supposedly well-connected to the Celtics and posted in the trade deadline thread that Paul George to the Celtics was imminent.

"Source familiar with the talks between Knicks and Celtics told ESPN that New York's demands for Kristaps Porzingis are "ridiculous." Also the source gives the sense that Boston will likely keep its No. 3 pick to draft a player and not trade down again."

Celtics unnamed executive to Phil: Hey Phil you are high and what you want is way too much. Come down a bit and we'll talk.

Phil needs his afternoon nap. He'll be sleeping during the draft and Dolan will be singing. Knicks fans must be stoked.

Can we create a fake Porzingis twitter account and have it disrespect Phil directly. It only has to work for a few hours and he's in Latvia or somewhere that probably still has dial up internet or some crappy service LOL (Latvia On Line).

It could be #30 - one team gets the best record in the league, other one makes the lottery and gets the #1 pick. Celtics get #30. The only pick the C's can't get (if the LAL pick is outside of 2-5) is the #1.
