Meh. "I Am Legend" wasn't that good in my opinion.

I thought it was pretty good. The problem is that he'll never live up to the promising numbers he put up during his minor league career on the small screen.

In west Philadelphia born and raised
On the playground was where I spent most of my days
Chillin' out maxin' relaxin' all cool
And all shootin some b-ball outside of the school
When a couple of guys who were up to no good
Started making trouble in my neighborhood
I got in one little fight and my mom got scared
She said 'You're movin' with your auntie and uncle in Bel Air'

Matusz just ejected in the 12th for a foreign substance. You could barely see it - pretty much standard stuff. This might be about to take off and become a thing.

After looking at the video, I agree. Pitchers are going to be checked and ejected with greater frequency until they knock off the Bullfrog.

Might see the number of walks and hit batsmen start to climb.

The interesting part is that it was Dan Jennings calling it out - ya know, the guy who was the GM until last week. If there's been any unwritten rule about this between managers, it seems to be that you only call it out if it's extremely obvious, which this wasn't. It could be that he was desperate for his first win and did something most others wouldn't do, but we'll have to see where it goes from here. At the very least I'd expect Marlins opponents to be paying close attention to Marlins pitchers.

That's a good point.

We all know what to look for - between pitches, any time a pitcher takes his pitching hand and grips his opposite wrist you know he's got something on his arm.  IIRC, David Wells was the guy who popularized this method (he used shaving cream) and now they all do it with some mixture of rosin/suntan lotion.  The unwritten rule has always been that if you aren't blatant, no one will call you out.

I would expect to see Marlins' pitchers being undressed out there for the next few weeks until Jennings gets the message.

Organizations haven't been fined or lost draft picks?  MLB needs to get their act together.
