Feel bad for Butler. He was actually pretty good in the regular season, but had the yips from the get-go yesterday. One of the worst performances I've seen at the NFL level and it'll be tough to mentally rebound from that. It would shake me up.

Yeah, I don't see him getting another chance after that.
 
To the layman it didn't look like CAR did anything to really rattle him, it just looked like nerves. Anything I am missing?

No, it really looked like he was just spooked after he duffed his first kick. I'm gonna go back and look at the tape tonight or tomorrow, but nothing really stood out from what I saw initially. This unfortunately adds to the reasons why people don't trust specialists. When they break down, it's very visible and it's not easy to overcome the yips in-game.
