At the end of the day, we know what this postseason is about -- which team can and/will beat the Chiefs and prevent them from going where not even the Patriots have gone before?
Cast you vote and tell us why and how KC will tumble.

I'm going with Baltimore. I think Jackson running wild is the only possibility, other than a Mahomes injury.
I'm rooting for Buffalo, but I don't think they can do it. The AFC has to stop them. I don't see any NFC team likely to take them down in the Super Bowl.

I voted BAL, but BUF, PHI, and LAR can beat them, imo. Glad the Vikes are out; Sam Darnold is who we thought he was.

No one. The kc defense is awesome exactly when it needs to be. The offense began the season weak, but added multiple weapons. Everybody's back and healthy, and they're at full strength and peaking at just the right time. Everything's falling into place for them.

Buf is injury-riddled. Their d won't stop the refreshed kc offense. Their o will give kc's d some scares, but that's all.

Bal is dynamic but inconsistent, which plays right into kc's strength.

None of the others are even in the conversation.

I think Philly can do it. Very physical along both lines, doesn’t turn the ball over and can control the clock with the running game.

I think Detroit could do it, too.

Detroit, Buffalo, Baltimore and Philly all have a good shot at beating them

A healthy Lions team

Since those two things aren’t happening, maybe Baltimore. I think there are a ton of plays Andy Reid wanted to run this season but injuries got in the way so they had Mahomes be a game manager while they leaned on the defense. Now that it’s the playoffs and everyone is relatively healthy, I think KC will put up points.

Voted Baltimore. Lions, Ravens, Eagles and Bills are all better teams. Doesn’t mean they’ll lose.

The Bills squeak by this weekend, Josh Allen plays the game of his life in 2 to complete this thread’s destiny…then they get absolutely boat raced by the Lions in the Super Bowl.

(That said, I voted nobody - I agree that all 4 of those teams are better than KC this year and I think the Rams from last night would have a good shot too, but I just can’t believe it happens til I see it.)

No one. Best coach, best QB, best defense. They’re not as explosive as they once were, but they grind everyone down, and make all the key plays when needed, on both sides of the ball. I’m rooting hard for anyone else, but they’re winning it all again.

My belief is that the Chiefs are going to win until they are officially eliminated--having to play only one of Buffalo/Baltimore is hugely advantageous and they should be looking at rolling Houston this week. I don't think any of the NFC teams are real threats, so really it comes down to the AFC Championship game against whoever wins Buffalo/Baltimore.

This is the ideal outcome

I voted no one. Teams just piss down their legs late in games against Mahomes, just like they did against Brady. I’ll believe that the Cincinnati loss wasn’t a fluke, and someone other than Tom Brady can beat Pat Mahomes in a playoff game when I actually see it.

If KC had to go through all of Baltimore, Buffalo, and Detroit to get their ring I'd be pretty confident one of them would grind through for a win. But with the Bills and Ravens set to beat on each other while KC is likely to annihilate the Texans, my confidence is less. Still doable, and I voted Bills because I think Allen could legitimately make it happen. But it's going to take a team seriously balling out.

Josh Allen. As a Bills fan, I'm puking with anxiety over this Sunday. But two things have me keeping my sanity: 1-the Bills are a way different and way healthier team than they were when they lost to Baltimore earlier. 2-Josh Allen has only lost against two teams twice in a season. Tom Brady's Pats (twice, his first two seasons) and The Chiefs in 2020. Bills are giving my one before I die this year.

I tend to agree. And yet Brady did not win the Super Bowl a lot more than he won it. Mahomes is not better than Tom F-ing Brady. He will lose playoff games. I hope he loses a lot more, a lot more regularly.

I think the teams that could beat them are Baltimore, Buffalo, Detroit, and Philadelphia. It's a huge advantage that KC doesn't have to play both Balt and Buff, and obviously doesn't have to play both Det and Philly.

If Baltimore doesn't play stupid football like they did last year, I think they have a great shot to beat KC. Pound Henry, let Jackson run a ton, and wear KC down. But KC rightly should be the favorite.

This season has been fairly boring for me because the Chiefs win with defense, or with a big offensive play at the right moment, or with a collapse by the opponent, or referee help, or by blind luck. Props to them. I assume they are going to keep winning until they don't. If Houston Saturday wins then the Ravens-Bills game will be an epic must watch battle. If the Chiefs win Saturday then the Sunday game is more of a could be fun but what does it really mean game, at least for me.

Best chance for them to lose is the Ravens. But I don't expect them to lose.

Five for Houston! Their pass rush gives them a chance. Chiefs have been getting by on luck and guile most of the year. Time for it to run out. I think Houston gets up early and hangs on.

As cynical as I am about the Chiefs three-peating--if the Houston team that showed up against the Chargers comes to Arrowhead, they will have a chance. A defense that was able to confuse Herbert and force turnovers, while coming up with some explosive plays now that Collins is back healthy--that team is certainly capable of beating a pretty lackluster by their normal standards Chiefs team. I kind of like them as 8.5 point underdogs.

Ravens have a great shot. I think the stats are aligned for them this year. Henry goes out Ray Bourque-style.

The only team beating the Chiefs is the Chiefs. It could be Mahomes with a bad game, could be the defense giving up big plays, could be special teams making mistakes (mostly likely option). I couldn't vote properly in the poll.

I voted for the Eagles, but I don't like their odds of getting to the SB.

The results are now in: 2.6% of the 229 who answered the poll question picked the Eagles.
