Double off the Wall. Almost seemed like he knew what pitch was coming...hmm. Maybe there's a breaking ball tell in the pitching motion.

They could use a good bench clearing brawl. Not because I think it would help the starters pitch better, I just like watching baseball fights.

This is totally disheartening. This game, and the last three following such a positive start to this stretch vs. TB and NY.

Last three games:

Sale: 5.1 ip, 5 h, 6 r, 6 er, 3 bb
Price: 4.1 ip, 9 h, 4 r, 4 er, 2 bb
Porcello: 5.2 ip, 9 h, 6 r, 6 er, 1 bb

TOT: 15.1 ip, 23 h, 16 r, 16 er, 6 bb, 9.39 era, 1.89 whip

Just absolutely hideous. Doesn't matter who you have in the bullpen if that's what you're gonna get from these guys. The games are lost before the bullpen can even see action.

they have to win tomorrow or the WC1 race is over. falling 3.5 behind the Rays with their easy August, the writing is on the wall. they already screwed up losing this series.

and with the Indians plowing ahead and bringing in reinforcements on offense... that could be season over.

The level we’ve reached/ we scored four minutes ago and nobody really gives a shit or believes we might actually win.

I don’t. I’m just sayin’

even with the offense scuffling against a feisty Rays staff, they've put up 5 runs each time. playoff teams need to be able to win a lot scoring 4-5 runs.
