The Stars and Avalanche will be underway here very soon, and the Canucks and Knights are playing tomorrow.

Will be very curious to see if the Stars, who were rated #2 in GA/GP in the regular season, can slow down Colorado's goalscoring tear.

That moves and shot by MacKinnon was pure filth. I think he's got a case for best all around player in the NHL right now.

Now 2-1 Dallas. Loving the pace of this game, I really wouldn't mind a series full of barnburners between these two teams.

Same. Watching, it looked like he could have dislocated his right kneecap, but he was clearly favoring his left leg...

Are the gm's not in the bubble? Why, when they are sitting basically by themselves in a private suite do they need to have masks on?

And if somehow the bubble bursts, it keeps the spread limited if they haven't caught it yet.

Basically, there's no reason not to, to be honest. Although if they really are by themselves then I agree it probably doesn't matter, but indoors I wouldnt be taking any chances.

Dobby is playing himself into a serious payday for next year as he keeps this up. 38 more saves last night.

Someone's gonna pony up for him. Ottawa?
Ottawa and "pony up" usually don't belong in the same sentence. Khudobin is 33 and never started more than 41 games in a season so I don't think he'll get a huge deal.

I wonder if Toronto might be a fit. They have Andersen under contract at $5 million cap hit next season and then he hits UFA. If they look to save some money, I could see them shipping out Andersen and going to a Khudobin/Campbell timeshare.

Around the league, there could be quite a bit of goalie musical chairs this offseason. Jim Rutherford today said he'll probably move Murray or Jarry. Lundqvist could be a buyout candidate. Some rumblings about Andersen in Toronto. Robin Lehner is a free agent, and who knows what happens with Fleury after this weekends fiasco. Holtby is also a UFA and is coming off 3 poor regular seasons, albeit with a .922 cup winning playoff run mixed in.

Rask might retire.

Rask might retire.
And if he does, Vlader backs up Halak next year. The team really likes him and Swayman. I don’t see them signing a goalie if Rask retires. They would give the money to Torey Krug.

EDIT: I don’t think Rask would retire and leave $6.5 million (the actual cash left on his deal) on the table anyway, so this is probably a moot point.

Vancouver getting a Delay of Game for a puck that clearly hit the glass on its way out. NHL officiating folks.

Heiskanen sets franchise record for points by a D in any playoff season. And we're still the conference semis.
