This is unfreaking real. I only got one glimpse, but that looked like an awful injury that was not an awful penalty. May go down as one of the all time most consequential penalty calls . . . .

I'd like to point out, since nobody else has, that that was an atrocious penalty call. This is a two-minute cross check.

For those asking about the history of PPG on one power play, the Blues scored four on a major against Sean O'Donnell in game three against the Kings in the first round in 1998. They went from 3-0 down to 4-3 up and ended up completing a sweep of the series in the next game.

The Sharks are at a disadvantage in OT since they are missing a first line forward with Pavelski out (I'm assuming he's not coming out for OT).

Gonna agree with consensus here, seems like a 2 minute penalty at best and the unfortunate result drove the major penalty call.

For those wondering, there was a similar PK collapse on a major in a much bigger situation recently. The Kings scored 3 on the Devils in Game 6 in 2012 after Steve Bernier’s major on Jeff Carter.

Edit: it was actually Rob Scuderi, not Carter. Carter scored the middle PPG, between Brown and Trevor Lewis.
