PoG with 1 minute laugh leaves a 6 on 4 for the last minute. Dallas took too long to shoot after zone re-entry there. Gotta get more shots.
I love how we bring this high-tempo sport to a complete halt to determine if a guy's skate blade was a millimeter off the ice.
Yup - I had to chew on some rawhide for that one, re-watching the Sportsnet commentary doesn't help either (just shuffle over and get to the middle of the net!!!)

So I did a quick search through the rule book but couldn't find anything about this. Which seems nuts on two accounts: a loose skate blade seems potentially very dangerous and warranting a stoppage, and that we've got already wildly different "precedents" from the officials on this.
Reilly is really good until someone on his team is a meany to his brother and pouts and packs it in for the next series.
I was starting to doubt whether Bo Horvat was truly good, but tonight's game has put that to rest. Check out his second goal. If he can up his offensive game, then he enters Bergeron territory.
He's is a really terrific player that we don't have the opportunity to see much. Great to see the Blues bullies lose Game 1.

I'm so torn about this game - I still hate Canucks from 2011 and clearly hate STL for last year. I guess most of the 2011 Canucks are gone and Vancouver is a way nicer city than STL, so go go Vancouver! (yes I am petty).

We beat Vancouver. Not so much last year. Easy for me to root for Vancouver in this series.
4th straight series going back to Dallas last year they've done this and gotten rewarded for it. PP and a goal out of what could have been been a major on St Louis.
And STL is one of the two major threats to the B's in the West along with Colorado.
Tuned in just as they lined up for the face off before the fight started.
Did the Blues player have a reason to chop the Vancouver player in the chest while he had his skate swinging forward into the Vancouver players skate to flip him or was this the entire incident?
it was like what I saw didn’t happen based on neither the eplay or intermission analysis mentioning it.
