That Lebron continuation layup and then the non-charge call. Wow. Just wow.

I really would love a Celtics/Lakers Finals, although its not the most likely outcome.

Lakers would have the 2 best players and the Celtics would have next 5 best players. Would be an interesting series.

How come the NBA lets the Lakers attendees yell during free throws? They should tell Ramona Shelburne and Dave McMenamin to keep it down.

So the Lakers are going to have a lot of rest waiting for us, huh? Maybe they’ll go stir crazy

Kuzma is kind of cool for a dumb ass Laker. I don’t feel a strong urge to punch any of them but if I have to, I’m going to grab a ladder a lay one on AD.

Lakers are such a strange, top-heavy team. 538 has them at a 25% chance to win it all, even though they are already in the finals. https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/2020-nba-predictions/lakers/

I'd give them a better chance than that, as I don't think their evaluation of Lebron is accurate in the playoffs. But still, a fascinating team to watch. If you took away their top 2 players they would be the worst team in the NBA.

If the Celtics win this series, I hope they skip that stupid ceremony. We don’t celebrate Eastern Conference championships

lol lebron passing to Caruso to avoid a turnover.
Turnovers when running the clock out are not credited to any individual player. Since they changed this scoring rule a couple years ago players always pass it off to someone as an inside joke.

Yep. Still the best that there is, without question.
I remember 6-7 years ago when people were talking about how his minutes would catch up to him in the playoffs. It’s like the Max Kellerman thing with Brady......eventually Father Time will win. It’s just never been anytime soon with LeBron. Since 2010, there has been only ONE NBA Finals that didn’t include LeBron.

FWIW, the continuation was the corrrct call. The foul occurred as he was gathering and he never put the all on the floor.

Yeah, I was surprised anyone could complain about it after seeing the replay. James took long strides and Jokic bailed out and gave him the layup, but it was clear he was gathering as he was fouled.

Yeah, I thought it was a joke, too, until I saw the replay and then was pretty obvious it actually was a foul. The most amazing thing was LeBron turning to the ref mid-air and yelling for the foul and then completing the lay-up. Very LeBron.

As for people writing LeBron off, a lot of them post here -- constant stuff about his decline from a few people (which I suppose is technically true -- gotta be a bit of a decline, but the remarkable thing is how great he still is).
