Lebron took 25 shots and 8 FTAs while playing his usual physical game. Just going by the number looks pretty run of the mill. For (extreme) comparison, Harden averaged 22.3 shots and 11.8 FTAs over the course of the season.

I think we wouldn’t focus on this so much if he was less of a demonstrative complainer.
Yeah, the 4th quarter highlights are basically Denver forcing him to take tons of tough midrangers that he happened to hit. Credit to him, but those were mostly wins for the defense, and he didn't live at the line.

NYC
16-10, with all 10 Laker points on fairly BS shots (LeBron crazy stepback 3, two tough AD fallaways, tough KCP fallaway)

I guess I was in the wrong thread.

Why no ROndo or Caruso?

Do you really need Howard in there when the Heat play fairly small?

The Heat are playing for keeps. I think this will be more competitive than many expected.
LeBron has only won a G1 of the NBA Finals one time. He lost 2 of the 3 G1’s this season. Miami needs to steal this first one to have a chance at the title. They are going to have more open 3’s in this series than they did last......they have a path. I think these contrasting styles will make for a great series.

Yup. And just like that it flips. We’ll see if the Heat can hold on.

That is a dumb reversal of the defensive foul. Green definitely jumped towards Butler, not a lot of contact but don't see how it gets reversed.

Uh Bron, you slapped his belly as he jumped in some weird effort to draw a charge? Not working buddy, although if you yell at the refs enough I suppose you get your way next time.

This plus the Yankees winning so far makes for a truly disgusting night. 2020 lives on.

Lakers win big. Yankees sweep Cleveland.

Not a fun night last night for Boston sports fans.

The Dragic injury (I think Bam will play) is a killer for them and I can see LA sweeping them or at worst, winning in five. So frustrating after Boston lost in six to Miami to see this. Then again, maybe it means that LA would have pounded the Celtics too.

Lakers beat us but I think we would have done ok against them. Maybe lose in 6.

The Lakers got a big assist when the Clippers went down, as Kawhi is the closest thing to LeBron kryptonite there is.

The Celtics with a healthy Hayward would have given the Lakers a game, but probably still lose in 5 or 6. But with a one-legged Hayward, it could easily be a sweep.
