Late '03 was a rough time for a number of reasons..

I liked Dernell Stenson. He was trying hard and was getting much better at first base.

Do any photos of Sean Berry in a Sox uniform even exist?

Has there ever been a good explanation as to why the Sox dropped him after one game?

Is he in here somewhere?

In 1997, the Red Sox introduced two new alternate caps. The white one was abandoned after one game, which also happened to be the debut of Wally the Green Monster (you'll remember that that did not go well). The red one made a few more appearances, but was never seen after 1997.

You may remember that the now-old, then-new away uniforms were originally worn with blue sleeves, socks, and catcher's gear. That lasted just the first road trip, I believe, before fan outcry made the team return some red to the uniforms:

Remember when the Sox wore green for Earth Day and for Red Auerbach Day? No, these were not Spring Training games, they were regular season games at Fenway.

And one more, for good measure: Adam LaRoche's 6 games were exciting.

Did the Red Sox ever actually wear their "Turn Ahead The Clock" jerseys?

They did not: a hurricane delayed the shipment of the uniforms, which were slated to be worn against the Tigers. Neither team wore theirs.
