He made Davante Adams completely fucking invisible tonight, which probably is the reason Rodgers had no clue what to do when the pressure was on. Adams is a legit #1 wide receiver in the NFL, and it's like he wasn't on the field.Big win. Big defense. Gilmore is a fucking stud.
uh what do you mean? hes always been a possession guy. care to fill me in what you are referring to?I wonder if Gordon will ever shot that burner speed he had back in Cleveland before his troubles. He can get the job as a big target, but if he could rediscover that lost second gear, that would be amazing.
They got to make a tv show. Probably less hype if they have to say it’s the goat vs some guy who is almost as good as Steve Young.NBC continues promoting this match up as the battle of the GOATs. Is Rodgers really in that discussion? Brees and Manning should be ahead of him at this point.
He runs real pokey. Earlier in his career, he seemed a bit faster once he caught the ball, and a bit more explosive. He made a lot of catches in Cleveland, but I wouldn't say he was a possession receiver. He averaged 17.3 yards per catch as a Brown, one of the highest in the league those seasons. I think of players like Edelman as possession receivers.uh what do you mean? hes always been a possession guy. care to fill me in what you are referring to?
They also ran out the clock on the last drive when they didn't need to score. It was 1st and 10 from the GB 21 when Brady took three knees. So could have been 41+.They were missing Gronk, Michel and Mason on offense and looked completely out of sync for the entire third quarter, yet still were a turnover on downs after first and goal from the 1 short of putting up 38 yesterday.
We haven't seen this offense click yet, Brady hasn't had what I'd call a great game for his standards in 2018 (maybe not even a very good one), but you can feel it's gonna come together at some point. And if it does, watch out.
