Saints have given up a kickoff return touchdown, and 2 onsides kicks in this game.

They should fire the ST coach on the field.

Pederson said they'll receive KO to "get that extra possession"? WTF is he talking about?

EDIT: DAMN YOU MYSTIC MERLIN

How does taking the opening kickoff help you ‘get an extra possession’?

In a quirk of fate Mike Lombardi killed Pederson week after week of the Eagles Super Bowl season. Eagles going on to win made him look like an asshole. Looks like it might not be case closed.

This is the first drive this entire season Dallas has started in their opponent's territory.

Phi beating GB really threw me off the scent that they might suck. Their other wins are Jets and Skins with losses to Det and Falcons.

Still a lot of time left in this one for the refs to get Phi back in it.

Refs well on their way to duplicating last year's game in Philly where Dallas got flagged all night and the Eagles somehow didn't commit a single penalty.

Totally agree. That was a Thursday night game too, right? Odd things happen on Thursday night games.

I thought the roughing the passer was pretty soft but the second penalty was pretty legit. Jeffery clearly dropped the ball and he still went in for a big hit.

The penalty on Smith was weak but everyone knows anything near the QB will be a penalty. The hit on Jeffrey could probably be used in the NFL’s film showing an illegal hit to the head of a receiver. Obvious, easy call.

Did the Boys get their OTs back? Phi is getting no pressure and the Jets were all over Dak.

Rooting for the Cowboys is akin to rooting for a corporate brand, like the Yankees

Rooting for the Eagles is akin to rooting for a smug team that handed the locals a bad loss, like the Yankees

No real Pats-related angle — neither team is sniffing the Super Bowl, and the Pats play both early enough that the games are almost certain to be meaningful.

I’m rooting against Dallas. Seems like the right thing to do.

Cowboys have SB level talent. Coaching is what holds them back.
