Not Lynn (or Ocean Side)
Not that we can make a direct correlation, because Miami would have managed the clock differently, but notice we’re already into the time that could have been run off if they hadn’t run that play before the two minute warning.

I’ll stop littering up the thread with this. Tomlin and clock management are a subject that gets me going and makes me envious most of you have BB.

I don’t mind going for it. I don’t understand giving it to your least effective offensive player two straight carries when your team isn’t built for getting those dirty yards.

Love going for fourth downs, but in this case take the low variance approach against the team with a green as grass Kenny Pickett leading the offense.

Tua has run 3 times, twice he took a hard shot short of the first down and the other time he slid short of the first down without a defender nearby. Some poor decision making.

He slid directly in front of Minkah, and I think he thought he picked up the first already.

Trying to win a football game.
He plays QB, that’s not a play critical to the game much less the season, and he’s not getting that first down.

Discretion is the better part of valor when you’re playing a long season at the most important position. He’s not Lamar or Josh Allen - slide.

I don’t disagree with anything you said, however Tua is probably trying to both make plays on a big stage and show everyone he’s physically fine.

He’s looked a bit rusty to me tonight, but he’s been pretty active and mobile.

I hope that isn’t what he’s doing, but you are probably right. He doesn’t need to prove his toughness to anyone.

Although who knows what that dad of his says to him.

He needs to put a little distance between his concussions or he’s not going to be on the field, ever. Admire his competitiveness but he’s got to smarten up.

At time so far Tua has made some nice plays but then at other times he looks like a godawful QB. I can't really figure him out.

Is Harris the most overrated RB in the league?
I don't know the answer, but I do know the Lisfranc injury he has is very difficult to recover from, especially as an athlete. I had three surgeries and 14 PT sessions recovering from a Lisfranc injury.

I think Pittsburgh foolishly drafted a RB when their entire interior OL needed to be overhauled.

I don’t think Najee is bad, but everyone knows what’s coming and the Steelers don’t have the line to bully people anymore.
