It's a pretty crafty design. Since Brown is a lefty the D commits to the edge thinking Brown is going around the end, but they design the cutback to not only confuse the defense but put Brown on a better throwing side.

And Fitzpatrick throws a pick. This escalated quickly.

It's all true.  If you'll excuse me, I'm off to google "Patriots WR left-handed."  Good day to you, Sir.

When you are trying to draw the other team offsides, you need to teach your lineman to move if the defender jumps. There is nothing to lose if you are taking the delay of game anyway.

Really ... what's the worst Mallett could do at this point?
Make HOU give up a better draft pick (if I remember correctly it's a conditional pick?)

right here
a) his knee was down
b) the ground caused the fumble
c) the defender's foot was out of bounds when he touched the ball

GJGE refs. Way to be on top of things.

I had no idea that Justin Tuggle that plays linebacker for Houston is the same Justin Tuggle that played QB for Boston College for like 1 game back in 2009.

So what. It's higher by one round. Obrien should want to win and going to Mallet is probably the better choice now.
