Someone was giving me a hard time in a game thread about not yet being fully sold on Minny offense...I'm feeling ok about my skepticism

From Springfield to Providence
Dolphins' Rizzi and Co. having a tough start. ST and penalties having a huge impact. In what looks like a potential tight game, Bills ability to win the field advantage to "steal" points will probably be the difference.

there are probably 3 games going right now involving either two teams i'm interested in, or pats rivals playing each other that i'd be semi-interested in for scouting purposes... i have watched each for like 5-6 minutes and been like, man this is shitty. also commercials. YAY NFL

I'm watching whip around coverage of the early games on The Red Zone and one is worse than the other; this league is a shell of it's former self, what a sad state of affairs.

And Adam drills another field goal, 17 for 17 this year and 42 in a row; that's one decision Belichick wishes he could do over, getting rid of him cost this team one, maybe two Super Bowl wins.

I might be wrong about this, but didn't he want to leave?

So am I correct in seeing that Kessler took a hit to the head, Ref sent him off for concussion test but didn't flag the hit?

To be honest, it's been so long, I don't remember the exact circumstances regarding his departure but you might be right about that.
The Patriots didn't franchise him, he visited GB and then Indy called

"When the Colts called, I told my agent, `Let's not screw around,' " said Vinatieri, in his first extensive comments regarding his departure from New England. "I told him, 'If Indy is interested, let's get this done.'" ... Vinatieri said he has no regrets about not giving the Patriots a chance to counter the offer.

I'd say Gostkowski has been clearly superior to Vinatieri over the past decade, especially on kickoffs (which Vinatieri needs McAfee to handle for him). Vinatieri has been better this season. Which years would swapping them have netted a Super Bowl win?

Which two seasons did Gostkowski cost the Pats a Super Bowl? By almost any metric you look at, he's been the better kicker since Vinatieri left. And that's not even taking into account kickoffs.

Would BB let AV kick a 50+ yard er on 4th and 10 in SB 41?

In the 2008 Super Bowl vs the Giants, does Adam make that kick when they decided to go for it on fourth down and not kick early in the game?

If he makes it, it's a tie game at the end and they go to OT.

Do they win it in OT? Who knows, but they get there.

Last year vs the Broncos, the missed extra point cost them a shot at OT and a possible trip to the Super Bowl.

Again, as with the Giants Super Bowl, no guarantee they win in OT, but they would have got there.

So as I said, one, maybe two.
