He may have felt that if he didn't get him in the game and Zappe won that there'd be no way to try and get him in the game. Tough situation for Jones and BB all the way around..
I agree with this. Very tough situation, but BB did the right thing I think, first by starting Mac, and then by going with Zappe when Mac threw that up for grabs.

lol, so bitter -- clearly you should have been paying more attention.

No, I have better things to do with my time than convince you of anything. I will continue to mock your saltiness instead :p
Why would I be bitter? I’m a Pats fan. I am just trying to see what’s real and what’s overexuberance. I was honestly asking if you saw something or were just assuming.

I will stop because I’m not a troll. I was legitimately asking if people were using their eyes or heart.

Everybody knows the Bears play great first quarter defense but then quit. Nothing to learn from this.

I have seen virtually every Pats game since 1963, and tonight is a first. This is not 2001; it's very different, weird, wild, and, thus far, wonderful (but I do feel sorry for Mac).

I'm tired of hearing the unremarkable story of how Bailey Zappe got his name.

where the darn libs live
To be determined.....if Zappe continues to play well I do not think they pull him. We've literally seen this story before. The question is how close BB thought they were at end of training cmap---I think we just don't know that part
I mean, Zappe wasn't even active in the first three weeks. He couldn't beat out Hoyer -- who sucks out loud -- for the backup job.
