I went to the bathroom to get ready for bed right before that Denver 3rd down. Figured I’d miss a run up the middle and the 2 minute warning, then come back, watch a chip-shot FG and Indy’s last-gasp drive.
That 3rd down might have been the worst play call ever. And such a terrible throw by Russ. I’m still in shock.

Setting up for a big tough call for Hackett. Say the Broncos get to the 30 with a minute left. Fourth and 5. What do you do?
I still can't comprehend that last INT. You 100% run there given what the game situation was and what the opposing team has shown you tonight. Up 6 with 2 minutes left no timeouts was going to be enough.... if you get the first down and just run a bunch again, 40 seconds left no timeouts is certainly game.
I know the tempting thing is to go for it but the standings matter and going for this is the dumbest decision imaginable.
I think Russ drew the defense offsides maybe twice in his 10 years in Seattle. His cadence doesn't draw people off.
