Went a bit liberal with bolding since it's not the best slate of games I've seen.

Taylor Kelly (QB) is definitely out for ASU.
Brett Hundley (QB) has started practicing for UCLA and looks like he'll play as the brace he sported on his non-throwing arm was much smaller than the one he wore Sunday. Here's hoping he gets gangrene between now and Thursday.

If you want offense, this is your game. MTSU is averaging 38 ppg and ODU is led by senior QB Taylor Heinicke, he of the 730 yard game against UNH 2 seasons ago when ODU was an FCS school. They are now a CUSA member and are 3-1, with a win at Rice last weekend.

astride the divide
That's funny.

I do like the look of that "70" though--how often do one of the underdog conference teams, even Boise State, go for 70 against someone from one of the power conferences? I know, North Carolina, but still.

Another modest card this week, agreed. Still waiting for this season to really get rolling. Tree/Husky should be a decent one.

I have a sneaking suspicion that this could be the week we find out Stanford isn't all that good. UW is a tough place to play. On the glass half full side of things, they did push U$C all over the field until they got into the red zone, so maybe they aren't as terrible as they looked in that turd of a loss.

10pm kickoffs are the worse. Almost as bad as this video not just starting at 1m19s like it's supposed to

These are nice butt chin helmets that Oklahoma State has going.
This is the worst uniform matchup I've seen all season.

Meeting Place, Canada
C.J. Beathard, grandson of former NFL GM Bobby Beathard, is starting at QB for Iowa today.

In the things I didn't know dept, Bobby Beathard is a 5-time over-65 World Bodysurfing champion

Anywhere I can see those highlights? It may make me a bad person, but watching defenseless QBs get trucked puts a hop in my step.

They just pooped on themselves on the 4th and 1, too. You're right; this line is terrible.
The hit number on Hackenberg is astounding. He can't stay healthy with the rate he is being hit this season. He looks awful (6 INTs to 5 TDs this season) but when you are terrified every play of the defense snapping you again you probably don't think clearly.

Here's the second hit on the UT backup QB. It's slo-mo from three angles. Ain't the best quality but I did what I could.

Wonder if the FSU all american LT wears a jersey with the name Turnstile on it during practice.  Man that kid would have been a 2nd round pick last year, he is going to be an UDFA at this point.   Anyone with a bit of speed runs right around him with impunity
