Not really arguing a false premise. I proposed a different one where the play continued, Baker did not make the hit and Foles tackles the ball carrier.

I do not recall anyone on tv noting that the play was over at the instant of the hit.

Dungy also said the Pats would be ok after the week 1 loss in Miami, and it's far from clear to me that they will be -- if you define ok as having a legit shot at another ring.
