I don’t think I’ve ever seen an announcing team basically apologize for a game before.
Yeah, and it’s a royalty announcing crew. Add Brady and we have a story heading into the weekend.

Mariota can't hit Walker, who was wide open in the end zone on back to back plays, and then takes a sack on fourth down when Vrabel tries to show some confidence in him.

Not sure why you run for 4 yards on 1st down, and then pass 3 times in a row from 10, when you have Derrick Henry, but that's why they are the Titans.

You would not think Nick Foles is an athlete of you saw him on the street.

They should live stream these conversations between him and Minshew that they’re talking about.

Westbrook's game check tonight is north of $40,000. His job is to catch passes.

He has not been very good at his job tonight.

There is no doubt in my mind that Ryan Tannehill would be a better fit for this Titans offense than Mariota. But, he's holding the clipboard.

You can’t start your truck unless you blow at least a .200 Into the ignition lock.
Didn’t that song win a CMA this year?

They can’t make unders on Thursday night games low enough. I’m shocked the NFL continues to allow its product to get diluted this way.

I have like 5 fantasy teams, and neither me, nor my opponents have a single player in this game, in any of the leagues.

That's like, hard to do. These offenses are really, really hard to watch.

Mariota has dropped back 33 times tonight, and the Titans have 131 yards passing as a team (after you account for sacks).

That's pretty fucking horrendous.

Illegal blindside block during a routine pass protection on a five step drop? I'd love to see a replay of that.

I just rewound it and watched it again. Fournette stepped up to block inside, and then saw a blitzer coming on the outside from Minshew's blind side, and went out and picked up the rusher. He went high with the block, but I literally don't think I've ever seen that called, in that situation, in the thousands and thousands of football games I've seen. Literally not once.

That was Mariota's best throw since he was at Oregon.

And another sack. By Calais...

How did the Cardinals not shatter opposing QB's with Campbell inside, and Chandler Jones and Markus Golden on the outside....

Tennessee is going to lose by 3 and we will have to suffer through pundits griping about Vrabel making the kind of decision I wish coaches would go for more often.

I don't buy that call against Logan Ryan. Even if the ball was catchable, which it wasn't, there wasn't much of a grab there at all.

Do the Jags run the ball just because they think they should? Because it sure as hell doesn't seem like they actually want to run the ball.

I don’t think the run game is keeping anyone honest.

What's the record for most carries without getting positive yardage?

Fournette is at 11 carries for -8 yards.

The Tulane/Houston game on ESPN is way better than this one. Tulane just took a 31-28 lead with 6:10 left.

Three guys have 14 carries with 0, -1 and -3 total rushing yards respectively. In order: Dexter Bussey (DET 1978 vs. Atl), Clem Daniels (OAK 1964 vs. BOS ), Benny Malone (MIA 1974 vs. NE)

And now it's all moot
